What an unbelievable find!! We spent a night at this wonderful Inn but could have stayed for many more. Traveling from LA to DC for work, we were looking for a quick weekend getaway in the Chesapeake Bay area. We simply couldn’t have chosen better – absolutely everything about the Inn at Tabbs Creek is fantastic, including the warmth and wonderful hospitality of the innkeepers, Greg and Lori. We felt like we were spending an evening with old friends on the screened-in porch watching the magnificent sunset over a few glasses of wine. It was such a treat to find not only such a beautiful location, but such a great ambiance – Greg and Lori have many wonderful stories to tell and had us laughing so much we almost forgot to go to dinner! The Inn has the perfect mix of modern amenities (the bathroom was gorgeous, eco-friendly and spotlessly clean) and understated country elegance - our room was beautiful and we felt right at home. On the Sunday of our visit we went canoeing in the Bay – highly recommended – we saw some great scenery and interesting properties in the area and enjoyed being out on the water in such lovely warm weather. We also really enjoyed the chlorine-free pool at the Inn for a quick dip before we hit the road back to DC. Greg and Lori are perfectly suited to running a B&B – Greg’s breakfast was scrumptious and Lori’s gardens are exquisite, and the fresh figs from the garden were to die for! We will certainly be back for a longer stay with friends and family so we can all share in this magic place! Sammy and Mona, Los Angeles

My husband and I were there for business and we would have LOVED to have stayed longer. We will definitely be back to enjoy the peaceful relaxing setting that Greg and Lori have created. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were just perfect. Clean and the attention to detail is awesome. My husband enjoyed fishing while I was working and I can't wait to go again so we can canoe and socialize more! Greg and Lori have really created a hidden gem so don't miss it!

We had a great stay at Tabbs Creek with Greg and Lori. They are wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious! Quiet and relaxing with great access to the water for kayaking and boating. We had some rather cool weather for June.... the fire pit made for some memorable evenings.

My wife and I spent 3 days at The Inn at Tabbs Creek just to get away and relax for a long weekend. What a fantastic place to relax! It's beautiful, quiet and not crowded. The Inn Keepers, Greg and Lori, are so friendly, helpful and accommodating but just like a good waiter or waitress, they're there when you need them but not when you don't. The breakfasts are incredible! There's a lot to do if you want, like kayaking, fishing, biking, or just do nothing but relax, read and watch the spectacular sunsets from the pier in the evenings or while sitting by the pool. We have recommended the Inn to a number of friends. We will be returning as soon as we can.

Room Tip: For the most privacy choose one of the three rooms in the building separate from the main house. For the the best view, and still plenty of privacy, choose The Captains Room in the main house.
