We loved our stay. The owner/ managers, Lori and Greg and the location by the water make this an enviable destination. Although it is somewhat off the beaten track it is worth staying for a couple of days to unwind and enjoy the simple treats offered. Having direct access to the water is a huge advantage. We had enormous fun with stand- up paddle and kayaking - all equipment available for rent on site. We had arranged a tour of the area by boat with a knowledgeable and charming local captain - an invaluable experience. My only con is not the fault of the Inn but the area - it is a culinary desert. Greg's breakfasts, often sourced from his garden, are really special and both he and Lori are 'foodies' - so hopefully there may be some development here!

At the end of a long drive and located on a point of land surrounded by water. Hummingbirds, swifts, herons to be seen, either by sitting on the dock, by the pool or floating in a kayak or canoe.
Beautiful rooms in the main house with en suite baths and 2 luxurious rooms in the separate building, each with a whirlpool tub.
This isn't a place for kids under 14 but a great place for a romantic and/or peaceful getaway in a lovely part of the world.

Thanks for a lovely stay at the Inn at Tabbs Creek. It was serene and relaxing and we loved learning about organic gardening! The food was excellent, and the innkeepers friendly and helpful. I hope to be back again soon to stay for a longer period!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Tabbs Room, small but nice.

Had the great fortune to stay here with some colleagues. It's unusual for us on business to stay at a B&B, but I was enamored with the Inn itself and the location. So we checked in --took over the entire 6 bedrooms (there were 9 of us) and were so happy we did. Inn keepers Greg and Lori are an amazing couple. No detail is ignored and Greg is the most amazing chef! After a comfortable nights sleep in the beautiful rooms (very comfy beds! all rooms recently redone), we all met for incredible breakfasts - featuring locally grown and produced ingredients. One night, Lori and Greg even hosted a crab feed for us Californians and showed not only how to pick a Chesapeake blue crab but how to eat it as well. It was terrific! The Inn sits on a beautiful piece of land and you truly feel like you're the only one for miles! They have their own dock with canoes, kayaks, adirondack chairs, so after a long day, we ventured out there to relax, taking in the amazing Chesapeake views. Rooms are private and well equipped. You won't be disappointed. The surroundings are beautiful - the Inn at Tabb's Creek is a perfect getaway!

There is so much to stay about this place - we stayed in the Chesapeake Suite - and it was AMAZING! The view and room was beautiful!! My technology dependent husband was completely satisfied as well, and that says something! We were greeted warmly upon arrival, shown around, and then got settled in our room. After that - we went canoeing, went for a swim in their pool and laid out, went inside and relaxed in the whirlpool, and then grabbed dinner. It was so relaxing, I couldnt get over the quiet beautiful area! Will definately be staying at again - oh, we also opted for the continental breakfast to be delivered to our room...mmmmmmmmmmm, the granola was so good!! Thanks again!

Room Tip: Chesapeake Suite!!
