We spent three weeks in New Zealand staying at various bed and breakfast establishments as well as hotels. This place was the highlight of our trip. The location was brilliant, the amenities first class and our hosts were extremely knowledgeable about the area and couldn't have been more welcoming. Everything was absolutely perfect, our only problem was that we couldn't stay longer. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Yes indeed, the facilities are five star and the breakfasts are to be savoured, but the truly remarkable aspect the service levels of the hosts. They do everything to make your stay pleasant. Having stayed for a weekend last year, we had been looking forward to this visit, and it was even better than the first. We've already booked again!

Awesome, thank you so much Ian and Elaine for making my weekend and birthday, enjoyed every minute of it. Elaine even accomodated my gluten free and vegetarian diet, thank you so much for making me feel welcome.

Kerikeri is a fantastic town, the locals really and genuinely are friendly. Everyone knew Elaine and Ian and helped make this weekend truly amazing. I thoroughly recommend Cilantro and speaking to Anne the owner for recomendations and The Best food and wine.

Think it's fair to say I'd recommend Landing Cottage :)

Big fan.

We stayed for 5 days and I can honestly say it was one of the nicest places I have stayed. We had a fantastic time. Elaine and Ian did everything they could to make us feel welcome. They provided lots of help with trips, changed the bath towels each day, cleaned the bathroom SPOTLESSLY, and made the beds each day again. I couldn't wait to get back "Home" after a day out!!, and then didn't want to get up each morning because the beds and the linen was so nice!!! It was only the breakfast that spurred me on.....it was out of this world, and Elaine would cook what ever our 5 year old daughter wanted. I REALLY CAN'T RECOMMEND LANDING COTTAGE ENOUGH.
Elaine and Ian deserve this review because they worked so hard to get.

On ariving at Landing Cottage our hosts Elaine and Ian greted us with a friendly smile and were quickly settled in. They ensured that we had a special and relaxing time. Their willingness to advise us on possible trips and the booking of trips and excursions made the holiday stressless.
Every day started with one of the options from the menu which were cooked and presented beautifully. We could not think of any other accommodation in New Zealand or Europe which was of the same standard.
The guest bedrooms and lonuge being in its own wing ensured that our privacy was observed. We often felt we were at home.
Thanks Elaine and Ian for such a woderfully restful break.

We have recently returned from a short weekend break at Kerikeri, where we had the pleasure of staying at Landing Cottage. We have stayed at many B and B's both here in NZ and overseas, but Landing Cottage is by far the best. Upon arrival on Friday night, we were welcomed by Elaine and Ian, our friendly and charming hosts. They were more than helpful with advising us on what to see and do in the North, and even offering to organise and book any activity that we should desire. The single party policy meant that we had the whole B and B area to ourselves- like a 3 bedroom house for just the two of us. It is very modern, spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortable. We were presented with a menu from which to choose a sumptuous breakfast. We can honestly say that the breakfast was more like dining in a top class restaurant than a B and B. Top marks. We will return.
