“A great eating place”
Reviewed July 19, 2012

This eating place 'moved house' at the end of June 2012 and now being near the town centre it has no outside dining area. It is only open until mid afternoon. However that does not detract from the fact that it is a great place for a coffee; a light snack or more substantial repast. The food is great - I would particulary mention the seafood chowder which is a delight and I have not had a better Cornish pastie outside of Cornwall. The owner and her staff are very friendly and attentive

“A nice cafe”
Reviewed July 6, 2012

They have always had lovely food - I've been there mostly for lunch, but they do a nice breakfast, I've heard. They just moved (June 2012) from their lovely indoor/outdoor venue to a shop on main street Kerikeri. I don't like it nearly as well as the other one (ordinary vs un-ordinary,) But I imagine being on Main street will be a lot better for business.

“Fabulous, freshly cooked food”
Reviewed May 17, 2012

It might be tempting, if you are heading into Kerikeri, to keep driving and see what you can find in the town centre - but DON'T! You'll be passing an absolute gem of a cafe. The food is freshly cooked, they cater for vegetarians, gluten free and picky eaters. They have ice cream, pancakes with bananas and bacon (my kids' favourite) and the best mochaccinos anywhere ever!

The kids playground is a bonus as you can let them run and play while you wait or chat at the tables under the trees.

A very nice place to eat and the garden is lovely and shade. Just right for a leisurely lunch. Great food.
