Kim Dot Com couldn't have had it better - breakfast on the deck with stunning views, balmy weather, newspaper waiting on the table, your own personal chef cooking breakfast and a lovely waitress serving it - what a life!

Tantalizing aromas of delicious coffee ..... at breakfast .... peaceful and restful to sit a while and contemplate .... visited the Bay with Historic Marsden's Cross ... NZ early history is all around.
This is one of the best places to stay in Northland. I am looking forward to our returning visits.

Our stay at Richard's lodge went so well that we decided to extend our stay twice. We simply found a home away from home and did not want to leave. The breakfast table conversation among the guests and the host brings the experience to another level, something one does not get at other form of accommodation.
We took the walk to the Rainbow Falls one morning and thoroughly enjoyed it.

perfect getaway great breakfast, very comfortable. would stay again in a heart beat. Richard is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and some of the restaurants that are a "dont miss" place to eat.

We were so pleased with our choice to stay at stone store lodge. It was in such a great position and within walking distance to beautiful historic places as well as great restaurants. The accommodation is top of the range, peaceful, stylish and environmentally sensitive. A great breakfast on the deck, the views with the morning sun, Wow!
