The best is how "Dave North" gets people on the boat:
boat and people to the harbour,
people and equipment on the boat,
boat into the sea -
and backwards just backwards!

By the way: Dave makes great Milo, and Sue great lemon cake!

Milo - Lemon Cake - dry feet (until you dive of course!) - what more could you want? Oh and of course some great sites to dive! Come back anytime - you're both always welcome - just give advance warning so we can buy some extra Milo ;-) Very best wishes, Sue & Dave

“Great team, excellent diving”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2012

Went out on the Rainbow Warrior & Neptunes garden, two great dive sites. We got to see Stingrays and a Fur Seal amongst loads of other beautiful marine life. The boat is amazingly comfortable and the staff is great, they take excellent care of you. Great day out, recommended to anyone who wants to dive up North.

“Enjoyable diving in a wonderful location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2012

Despite the cold, cold water, and the variable visibility, I really enjoyed diving the HMNZS Canterbury, and Rainbow Warrior wrecks with Dave and Mark at Dive North. The whole team was really friendly, and it was great fun going out with them on their boat, and getting my first wreck diving experience.
I'll have to come back again when the water is a little warmer!

The water's getting warmer Liam!! We'll have to get you back in the summer next time so you're lovely and toasty in the summer sunshine! Really good that you dived both our great wrecks too, it was a pleasure to have you onboard.

“Very professional and so much fun!”

We went to the Rainbow Warrior with Dive North and were amazed! First of all, Dave and Sue run a very professional service, all the equipment seems to be quite new and perfectly maintained. Dave cares a great deal about a thorough briefing, perfectly fitting 14mm suites to keep you warm and your safety. The crew was fun and we had a great time with all of them. Sue makes a yummy lunch by the way! The wreck is just stunning, you could not expect more. She really is a beauty and Dave knows a great deal about the boat. If the water hadn't been 13 degrees we could have stayed hours!
We can only recommend this company, it was the best dive we had for a while! We try to be back to see the Canterbury with them as well!

“Awesome dives.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2012

Even if the weather wasn't that helpful, they managed to give you the best diving experience you can get. Nice boat trip to the dive spots and really good service from Sue, with the lunch and hot beverages after every dive. Good history lessons and briefings for the dives provided by Dave. If you want to dive the Canterbury and the Rainbow Warrior, you must pick Dive North, you won't regreat it.

The weather wasn't as good as it could have been was it!! Nevertheless you did a great job during your SSI Advanced Adventurer course and are a very competent diver Bernardo.

Thank you for diving with us, we enjoyed meeting you and having you on board Lady Rose.

Best wishes,

Sue & Dave
