“A lovely place to walk”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

VIsited here with our friends who live in Kerikeri. It is a beautiful area and we had a great couple of hours walking from the Falls back to Kerikeri. Didn't see many others there which made it all the more enjoyable and relaxing.

“Thank You Rain !”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

Well there has to be some benefits to the rain we have been sharing our trip with and it manifested itself here. These falls are easy to get to either by walking from in town or driving the car and taking the well sign posted and easy walks. As others have said a number of locations to take different photos from, just beware at the bottom viewing area you are going to have mist on your lenses and the track down, whilst easy, can be slippery in places so wear proper footwear.

“a taste of heaven”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

What a lovely, peaceful and tranquil place to stumble across after a long and tiring hike. It's refreshing to swim here on a hot summer's day. After a little rest, continue walking the track through some very scenic bush/forest all the way down to the stone store (takes about 45 minutes relatively easy walking from the Falls).

“Well Named”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

We made the effort to go to the falls and were well rewarded. The sun was shining and there is actually a rainbow over the pool at the base of the waterfall. Some good walks along the trail from the falls.
