this place was ok. but the food for the price served was way too much. had a nice relaxed vibe. great views. we were there on a rainy day so had to have the verendah doors closed. however wuld have been magic on a summers day. you probably pay an extra $10 per meal for the view. both our meals were ok/average

A lovely meal, great presentation, and a good size. The fish and chips amazing. Verandah seating a must.

It took about 10 minutes to get menus and have our drink orders taken but the wait was worth it.
On Fri night my husband and i booked a table at The Pear Tree following a recommendation and we weren't disappointed. We had three courses and, unusually, both picked the exact same off the specials menu. Duck spring rolls with pork belly in an Asian broth and lamb cutlets with veges and ratatouille. Both well prepared (a little clumsy on presentation but who cares) and we enjoyed a lot. We then shared a desert tasting platter which was huge and demolished. My favorite was hard to pick out of the six deserts we tried as were all totally different. We didn't need desert as we both moaned about 30 mins later about how full we. Were.
All in all the prices are fairly reasonable for nice place (we paid about $135 which included 2 glasses of wine and coffees) and the staff young and pleasant. We'd definitely return.

The best meal I have had in a long time. It was worth the trip to Keri Keri just for this restaurant

The food here was lovely, the fish particularly so. The wine list was good and reasonably priced. Ask for a table in the conservatory and you get lovely views, but it was quite cool - you need a jacket or wrap.
