Great food and attentive service. We had spring rolls and salmon fish cakes as entrees, then we both had the fish of the day (bluenose) on mashed agria potatoes with green beans. The ice creams for desserts (liquorice, tamarillo, and lemon myrtle) were delicious. An excellent local Pinot gris was the perfect complement. Congratulations to the owner/chef!

You would need to be directed to this as you would otherwise drive straight past. We found the food really good but on the expensive side. The Maitre d' was very friendly and happy to replace my wine as he had recommended it and I didn't like it. But the other staff were rather surly.

We have been here before so knew what to expect but it is always good to be back in a place where you know the coffee will be great, the food delicious and the setting lovely. Todays visit with some of our family was all of those things

We were staying in the cottages at the site and felt so lucky to have experienced such a wonderful meal in such a beautiful setting. The kingfish starter was exquisite with delicate coconut flavours. We both enjoyed our mains of fish of the day and duck curry. But the real star of the show for me was the lemon grass and kafir lime panacotta - a desert amongst the top I have ever tasted! Service was efficient and friendly and altogether a memorable meal. If you are in Kerikeri, make sure you visit this gem!

We had dinner here last week and had a great meal. It was a bit difficult to locate at first because it is in a jungle-like garden setting. The service and food were great. Try it out. P.S., We had to go back another day to explore the gardens. Truly beautiful! setting. Take your camera.
