We chose this motel by accident but were pleasantly impressed. The operator is very friendly and obliging. The rooms are great. Quiet, spacious, modern and well appointed. Comfortable king size bed, relaxing big spa bath. Nice place to sit outside. One of the best motels I've stayed at.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Kerikeri Park Motel in February 2013. It is set in beautiful surroundings, like being in the Country. The Motel is more like a 5 star Hotel - the apartments, furnishings, bedding and cooking facilities were second to none. We stayed in No. 13 - which happens to be our "lucky number" and it certainly didn't disappoint. We woke up to birds chirping and to a wonderful outlook from our sliding doors - we had two doors as we were at the end of the building - which was so private and very pleasant. We only booked in for three nights as we were travelling around the area, but would definitely recommend staying longer. Even though the setting was an idyllic country retreat, the township of Kerikeri is only a short distance away, which was perfect for picking up supplies etc. The management were really great and the apartments were spotless with a huge king sized bed and beautiful bedding to match. We would definitely recommend this Motel to anyone and should we return to the beautiful Bay of Islands again, we would absolutely without a doubt stay here again. Sandy & Terry, Queensland, Australia.

Room Tip: No. 13 room was brilliant being at the end of the building, I know No. 13 is unlucky for some, but w...

Set away from the main road this is a lovely quiet motel. A spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished room with kitchenette. Everything you could possibly need has been supplied and our room was very new looking and light and airy. Our host, Jackie is very helpful should you need anything including advice or tours. A very comfortable quiet stay.

We were in room17... A first floor studio unit which is exactly what we had requested. The room was very clean and modern. Kitchen well supplied but no instructions for appliances & no teapot... It is a vital piece of equipment for some. I managed to work out how to get the oven to work eventually...probably totally obvious to a Kiwi but seemed counter- intuitive to us. These really were minor irritants. Bathroom was fine and recently re- furbished. Excellent location. Quiet. Kerikeri is much nicer and much more interesting than nearby Paihia. we have stayed there before & it has beautiful views but with a car, we found it much nicer to be in Kerikeri.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet. First floor recommended as patio door needs to be open for air movement and tha...

We had a great stay at this motel. The owner Jackie was very accommodating.
My favourite part was the lovely view from the room. You can the birds in the morning (not loud though) which added to the relaxing vibe. The rooms are huge and only a couple of years old. We had the room with a spa.

Fantastic motel, like the previous reviewer, nothing to fault. Room was immaculate, loved the addition of a fan and the small balcony with view of lawn and trees (I was in room 19 upstairs). Full kitchen, Jacky the manager was absolutely charming. Great base to see Kerikeri from. Highly recomended.

Room Tip: If you stay upstairs you get a great view.

Nothing to fault here - we stayed for two nights and had a great time. Jackie, the hotel manager, was most friendly and helpful with local knowledge and tips on what to do, where to eat, things to see, maps etc.
Our room was immaculate - spotless- with a well equipped kitchenette. And most important at the end of a long day wine tasting and sightseeing, our room was quiet and had a very comfortable bed. Great location - off the main road and just a few minutes from centre of town. Highly recommended.
