had a great weekend at kerikeri Patk Motel. Our room was exceptionally clean, beautifully presented and well equipped. Jackie, the manager, is lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. We used the gas barbecue, gas, utensils, even paper towels for clean up al supplied at no extra charge. Set a couple of hundred metres away from the raod, the motel is set on a large park like section and is super quiet. We totally recommend this motel.

We spent a couple of nights (too short!) here. The place was very quiet, beautifully presented clean and spacious - king size bed and spa bath just perfect for a romantic getaway. Jackie was very helpful and great to deal with and Kerikeri/Bay of Islands a fantastic area with plenty to explore.

Room Tip: We were given room Number 16 which was huge, had a great little balcony with a table and chairs and...

I couldn't fault our stay at Kerikeri parl. Probably the cleanest Hotel I have stayed in and I travel a lot within NZ. The bathroom is huge, quite unusually so for a hotel. The bed was as comfy as it gets and the living room/kitchen area is large and well equiped. Balcony was an added bonus. Very quiet as it is well off the road - we did not hear any traffic.
We loved Kerikeri and this hotel just added to the experience. We are coming back!

This place is a wonderful find. Don't let the unfinished landscaping turn you away. The rooms are very new and fabulously clean. It is also very peaceful and quiet.

Lovely motel, clean comfortable & so peaceful. Enjoyed the spa bath! Only one thing could have improved our stay, would have been either aircon or a ceiling fan. And maybe a pool sometime in the future. :) Very helpful lady temporarily managing the motel. Hope when the new owners take over, they can make into what it has the potential to be. Beautiful quiet location & design. Definetly on our list to return & have recommended to family as a place for them to stay when visiting our relatives in Keri Keri. (We were up for a family occasion) We only stayed here one night, but would have been happy to stay a lot longer.

Room Tip: The rooms with spa baths are very nice :)

Our trip to Kerikeri was ill-fated from the start! Our first booking with hotels.com at another motel was screwed up (note to self: ALWAYS ring the hotel in person to confirm the booking has actually gone through - the confirmation from the agency may not be worth the pixels it's printed on). Then we booked through the Jasons website at this motel. Received the 'confirmation' and printed it out. Arrived at the motel only to be advised that Kerikeri Park had gone into receivership a month ago and they didn't have a booking for us on perhaps the busiest weekend of the season. Whose fault is it? Jasons? The receivers? Certainly not the very kind and capable woman who is managing the motel and apologised profusely before ringing round all the motels in town to find us a bed for the night. Ended up at the lovely Kauri Park Motel and what a blessing it was that we arrived earlier rather than later - hate to think what the other Jasons 'guests' did for the night, I think we got the last available bed. Ah well, lesson learned - book direct with the motel and confirm everything in writing.

I am so pleased you were well looked after at Kauri Park Motel and I can only say sorry for the mix up with the bookings. We would love you to try Kerikeri Park Motel as the property has certainly transformed over the past 5 months and is under new management as Judy was temporarily holding the fort. Feel free to contact me to discuss further. All the best Jackie Thompson
