If you would like a B & B in a quiet & peaceful setting, yet within easy reach of Kerikeri, then look no further. Glenfalloch is the place for you. Keith will look after you & will also be a most wonderful source of local knowledge.

If you want a tropical paradise, most accommodating host and fab breakfasts, book here. Keith cannot do enough for his guests from a welcoming beer to custom cooked breakfasts with 28 of his homemade jams and jellies. It's an easy walk to several superb restaurants and a short drive to the best of the Bay of Islands. The value for money CANNOT be beat! We'd do it again in a flash!

We stayed at Glenfalloch about 5 years ago and Keith Brown made it one of the highlights of our visit to New Zealand. He is a terrific host, entertaining, knowledgeable, experienced and a great cook. Keith goes beyond what is the norm for B&B's with extending invitations to sit down and enjoy the property with him over wine, etc. Ask him for a tour of the property and he will delight you with his knowledge.
Some day we hope to return and hope that Keith will still be in business and able to have us again.

If you like a peaceful place with birds singing around, choose Glenfalloch.
If you are interested in organic food, go to Glenfalloch and allocate one day to listen to the owner's stories about orchards. As a matter of fact, Keith Brown, an agriculture expert from the UK, owned and ran several orcherds in NZ for many years and his passion for Nature is such that he is still up to date regarding the most recent varieties of flowers and fruit.
Take your time to enjoy Keith's breakfast. We could count about 30 different home made jams. Most creative associations. Don't miss the Lime and Passion Fruit Honey, the Orange and Coriander and all those including Ginger, one of Keith's favourite flavours.
If he asks you if you wish to have a green egg, don't you dare believe he is joking. His hens' eggs are organic, of course, but their shell is actually green. Poached, fried or in any other way, they are delicious.
Rooms are very large and all have nice views.
You don't need to prepare your tours in the Bay of Islands if you are staying at Glenfallochs because Keith will help designing your iddle days in the best possible manner.
Follow his expert advice (he has been in NZ for many decades) because he will recommend you spots (Nature) that you wouldn't find in any guide or the internet.
Although the swimming pool is there, I believe nobody uses it as it would be a waste of time in such a beautiful area.
If you look for a good restaurant at walking distance, I recommend the Pear Tree. Please see comments under this name.

We stayed at Glenfalloch over Summer 2012, sadly for one night only as it is a fantastic spot. Lots of lovely walks nearby, perfect spot to do the Rainbow Falls walk from and to visit the famous Stone Store. Keith is a wonderful host, very welcoming with plenty of useful local knowledge. Also enjoyed some of Keith's amazing flavoured jams! (lemon honey, lime and coriander, blackberry apple and more!). Would highly recommend to other travellers.
