We visited this cafe twice during our 4 days in Greytown.
1st visit: it was just 4 of us in the cafe, we got great customer service, amazing food and felt right at home. It was very cosy and warm inside.
The pies here are one of the best I have tasted in the north island of NZ.
Second visit: it was a busy day, we got shocking customer service, the lady didn’t even smile and mixed up our orders.
Meals came out up to 10 mins apart, all eggs were so undercooked half of us couldn’t eat them.
Food was so drenched in sauce it wasn’t great (and I love sauce).
I don’t think the staff work well under pressure. I had raved to friends about this place after the first visit but was disappointed by the second one :(
