We visit here regularly and it is a wonderful cafe serving scrumptious food and delicious cakes. Food is well priced and lovely coffeees. Clean and friendly large cafe, with outdoor seating available. Would highly reccomend this place to eat and drink and they now do fab pizzas on a Friday night.
Its great for families as there is a play area and toy box containing clean toys, and several high chairs. The only thing missing is a nappy change table - very strange since there's plenty of room in the toilets for one. Please, please, please put a nappy change table in the toilets!!!

The classic Caesar Salad had no Kos Lettuce or Parmesan in it. A poor facsimile of an easy salad to get right.

Went there today - Martinborough Fair...food overpriced - even at Wellington standards and they would not even serve tap water after spending $50.00 on breakfast for 2 adults and a child - you have to buy it...poor form. Don't bother !! Owners seem focussed on people they know in terms of service.

As a regular visitor to Martinborough I often visit this place, now mainly just for coffee and cake which is very good.

Used to eat here but have experienced so many changes in chef, staff etc that I don't bother any more. If the owners are on duty you can expect better cooking from the owner chef and the other owner when he's front of house. Sadly, the rest of the time the food is average (and quite pricey), and the service at best is sloppy, slow and what I call 'kiddy' service i.e. served by youngsters with no idea about how to serve and look after customers.

The owners of this place also own Ingredient on the corner and you might be better off going there or to Medici.
