If you want to soak up the real vibe of a place you're visiting go to where the locals go. Mesita is Martinborough's best kept secret where you'll sit alongside winemakers and locals for some delicious food, a comprehensive wine list and authentic Mexican style cocktails.

They’d run out of every item on the menu by 7.30pm. The opening hours are misleading for dinner, looked like decent options but only for very early evening.

Enjoyed the tasty food. Ordered 4 plates for myself and my husband and it was enough. Small but sufficient menu. Balancing the plates on a small table was awkward. Enjoyed a bottle of local Pinot Noir. Good service. Friendly atmosphere patronised by locals.
