“Great Location in Scarborough”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

Seashells is situated in the perfect position in Scarborough beach. The room is very big and we had the most stunning view of the beach from our balcony. It is right on the beach and just perfect. There is a few great little Restaurants within walking distance and the supermarket is very close to get a few things. Really enjoyed it allot, will definitely visit again.

Room Tip: Room facing the beach, it is worth it

My wife and I recently stayed at these apartments on two different occasions at the beginnning and end of our holiday. We stayed as part of a 3 nights for 2 deal with through Trailfinders and thought that these apartments provided excellent value for money. On both occasions we had a spacious very well equipped two bedroom property on the first and third flloors. Marginally we preferred the the third flloor as the views were much better and possibly lighter. Having said that the first floor apartment had a brand new kitchen and an additional television in the main bedroom. The apartments as previously stated are very well equipped and have a large fridge with a good sized freezer compartment, a proper cooker and oven, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and television and DVD player.
The location is perfect right on the beach, close to restaurants, shops, supermarkets and even the local bus service which is very handy if you want to get to a restaurant without driving.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, on our final night we were using the washing machine and the programme was not working properly so we had a load of wet washing they provided us with access to another apartment to use the washing machine and tumble dryer. Wonderful customer service. On one occasion my wife could not find the iron and she rang reception within five minutes we had someone from reception to show us were it was.
Secure parking, on site swimming pool and barbecue. WA is quite expensive for eating out and with Cloles being just a short stroll away you can easily cook in to keep the cost down..
Restaurants close by Wild Fig very popular but we thought it was quite expensive. Grill'd great burgers and a BYO well worth a visit. La Vela a 10 minute walk away on Scarborough Beach Road well worth a visit.
Would dfinitely recommend these apartment especially if you get a 3 for 2 deal1

Stayed here for 3 nights in Sept 2012. Our apartment was one that had been modernised and was all very mod cons. The main bedroom with the doors open looked out to the Ocean, stunning!!!
However, due to the dreadful weather the apartment was cold but the handy man was sent up. He fixed the air con heater to stunn and provided us with an electric heater, he couldn't have been more helpful!!
We could have lived in that apartment, I wish!! The location is ideal. The beach and beachfront are gorgeous, even in lousy weather conditions. Supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants are all walkable within a few minutes. Buses to everywhere just down the road.
Already thinking how we can stay for longer next time??!!

Room Tip: Pure preference.....ask for one of the modernised apatments on the front and 2nd floor to have best...

Perfect location right infront of beach, unfortunately we had terrible weather so didn't go to beach or use pool but if weather is good then awesome place. We stayed in 2 bedroom superior , has main bedroom upstairs and twin room downstairs, great for families but could do with more glasses in apartment!!

This was the second time we stayed at Seashells and we weren't disappointed again.

A fantastic view of the beach and sunset.

Good secure parking.

Excellent rooms.

Pool.

Laundry in you room. Spacious kitchen, dining and living area.

Nice balcony to relax, have a wine and enjoy the view.

Close to CBD.

Room Tip: Higher floors have better view.

I stayed in a two bedroom apartment which is adjacent to the main building. Absolutely wonderful. On the lower floor was a large kitchen, comfortable lounge, separate dining, balcony overlooking the beach, good sized bedroom, second bathroom with spa. Upstairs was the main bedroom and en-suite. Reception staff were very helpful. The location is great - easy walk to restaurants, shopping and beach. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.
