We went here for breakfast and while the interior is decorated with a lighthearted flair, this couldn't make up for the small portions and bad service. It seems like Australian restaurants do not understand that if a waiter would just check in on tables every now and then that they would sell more drinks and other items and be more profitable. It's so frustrating trying to choke down a tasty but dry benedict with no liquids! My husband got the grizzly bear pancakes which we were told was large, but here we were foiled by our forgetting that 'large' to a thin Australian girl is definatly not the 'large' envisioned by a 30 year old American man. (We accept this as our fault and not the restaurants - just be warned.) Overall, I would say this would be a fun place to go with girl friends when you have nowhere you have to be.

Had a week day lunch with a friend, ordered a juice when first arrived and after considerable amount of time checked to see if it would be coming soon. Seemed it had been misplaced. The salad was ok, though expensive for what it was but that's Perth prices. I would properly try other places before I come back here.

This is a hip and happening place for a meal. It was always well frequented and our first hand experience of the food and service was absolutely fabulous. We had dinner here as well as coffee during the day. Dinner consisted of a trio of home made dips to start followed up with 'two little pigs' (pork for me) and a beautiful steak (for my partner). All washed down with a very nice Madfish Vera's Cuvee sparkling. Delish! The service was attentive without being obtrusive, even when they were flat out busy. You are able to settle the bill at your table allowing you to sit and enjoy the atmosphere without feeling pressured to leave. Given the popularity it pays to book so you don't miss out.

Dinner on a wed night pasta -baked ravioli & prosciutto pork with broccoli & potato, both meals were beautiful!! Though the service was a little slow. But such a good setting it was a pleasant wast to spend the wait.

Went back for a smoothie a few days later & had a mad monkey choc/coffee/banana -fantastic!!!
