“Slip in Quality”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

I lunched with 3 friends on Friday 2 November having lunched here several times in the past and always enjoying good quality food. Two of us ordered the crepe's and, while the crepe was quite nice, it was really disappointing to view the quality of the salad which came with the meal. The lettuces were tired, blackening around the edges and it looked as if caterpillars had beaten us to our lunch. The red onion was in huge chunks and the cherry tomato's struggled to make any appearance at all. In the past, while the food was a little more expensive, the freshness and flavour ensured you walked out feeling it was reasonable value for money but this was not the case this time.

“Fun experience and good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

Visited with friends on a week night, without booking, and it was very busy with a half hour wait, which we spent on the couch on the side which was quite comfortable, and ordered a bottle of wine and some delicious breads whilst we were waiting. Main meals around AUD36 but we enjoyed the food. Decor great fun - check out your table (ours was part of a wooden door) and the light hangings. We had a new member of staff who wasn't altogether sure what was happening, but overall good experience.
Seems to be two entries for this restaurant.

“good place to go on a full stomach”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

had been here before for coffees and breakfasts, which were both good. However went for dinner one night. Had a few issues with wild fig. Nice ambience. However food very disappointing. Overpriced. Essentially tasteless. I had crab pasta where by far the main ingredient was red onion. Totally overpowered any crab taste. My partner had barramundi on saffron rice. Fish ok but the side was appalling. Overall would not recommend for a meal, however nice setting for coffee or drink

“overpriced but its always busy??”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2012

Good beer and wine selection. Food is OK but overpriced, service is OK. They are always busy as they don't have any competition. Nice place to go after the beach for a beer though

“Great food & atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2012

We came here on 2 occasions and the food was amazing! It is a little on the pricey side, but well worth the money. A little tip for you - try the ooey gooey! It takes 20 minutes to arrive at the table (which they do inform you of when ordering) but it is WELL worth the wait ;)
