“Noisy but great food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 9, 2013

I have eaten in this place twice and really enjoyed everything about it. The food is great, the service is fabulous, and the position, right across the road from the beach, is fantastic.
The only downside is the noise. We had to ask the waiter to turn the music down as we had to shout across the table, and as there are no soft furnishings the noise just bounced around the room. I'll go back, but I'll make sure I sit outside!!

“A long time to wait for average food! Go elsewhere.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013

We ate here only because the Blue Duck restaurant had a private function. We waited 40 mins for our entrees and then a further 45 mins for our mains. The restaurant was busy to star with but pretty empty by the time we finished our entrees.
The wait was not worth it.the food was over cooked and very poor value.
If you go here because it's busy elsewhere then I would advise getting a taxi or train to Fremantle which is 20 mins away and you will have plenty of choice of good food and good service.

“Probably some of the best seafood I've ever eaten!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2013 via mobile

This little cafe situated on the picturesque seafront of Cottlesoe is probably one of the best seafood restaurants I've eaten in. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodated to our needs, making sure the fish had absolutely no bones as my mum had forgotten her glasses. Although slightly expensive the food really was incredible! For starter I had lemon and dill risotto with scallops which was delicately flavoured and extremely good. Then for main I had Barramundi with fresh clams in a creamy sauce which was even better! This restaurant really is worth a visit if you are willing to pay that little extra for the quality food that they serve up!

“Excellent food with friendly service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2013

We booked the day prior for a group of 8 and they have us the best seat in the house with awesome views of the ocean.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating, we had an infant in our party and that wasn't an issue, we ordered some entrees which came out quite fast and were delicious and then a while after received our mains.

Between the 8 adults in our party all of our members were extremely satisfied with the quality and the quantity of our food. The restaurant lives up to expectations and dishes up very satisfying food. The food is slightly pricey but worth it. Will return for other meals.

“The worst experience of any”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

Rude staff, 50 minute wait for food, with not many diners, the food was atrocious like the first year apprentice was cooking blind. An absolute disgrace. Garlic prawns were doused in chilli and over cooked as was the squid I would not recommend this shambles to anyone. Your wasting your time and money. YUK!
