Fantastic well worth the drive from Perth...One of Mother Nature miracle's...There is no real explanation on how they were formed...You could make so many things out of the rock formations...

Sunset is the best time to go. New facilities at The Pinnacles. BBQ area across Indian Ocean Drive at Hangover Bay.

I was really surprised, it's bigger and much more beautiful than I thought! defenatelly worth the day trip. I strongly recommend to get there early in the morning (less cars) and to walk the trail and not just drive it. Don't miss lake Thetis and the beaches near Cervantes.

I have been in a lot of moon surface kind of places, but this is probably the second of my favourites after mount Teide in Tenerife. You can find sports where all you see is the yellow sand, pinnacles and the weird shadows they are making.

Although this was our third visit to The Pinnacles, they never cease to amaze me. There is no real explanation for how and why they are there in their thousands but who cares. Along with the interesting formations, you get some lovely views of the ocean as you drive the circuit track through them. The information centre is good with just enough blurb, some stunning photos and quite good souvenirs if you need them! We took along my son and his English girlfriend as first time visitors and they enjoyed the visit too.

Thank justjans
