From the minute we arrived we felt welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this luxurious location. The little extras made a big difference and would love to return again one day for a relaxing getaway! The Views and Setting are spectacular and we miss the Kangaroos on our doorstep.
Thank you

We stayed at Yering Gorge Cottages a year ago and loved it so our second stay came with very high expectations. A different cottage this time and it was just as great as the first one. First class in every way. Thanks Ross and Sharon.

We have stayed several times at Yering Gorge Cottages, in both the one and two bedroom cottages. The cottages are private, beautifully appointed, immacuatley clean and really quite perfect. Ross and Sharon are always helpful, welcoming and yet unobtrusive.
We can not reccomend the Yering Gorge Cottages enough for anyone looking for some peace and tranquility. The views are beautiful, and the grounds lovely and the walking tracks around the property mean you don't have to leave.... except to sample the local Yarra produce and wines!!

Stayed recently in waterfall cottage. Beautiful cottage at the edge of the property.
Quality accommodation, it's got all you need for a week or a weekend. Quiet weekend watching the local roo population from the balcony, sipping the nice bottle of red that was left for us on arrival.
Management provides a very nice basket of breakfast provisions, bottle of wine and firewood for the fire..
The only thing I would say is that you enter the property driving up a very long drive past the equestrian centre. Don't be put off by the state of the equestrian centre, the cottages are much nicer.

Thanks for the great review rion, we are glad that you enjoyed your weekend away on our property with our kangaroos and local produce. The equestrian centre has been closed for sometime now to make way for The Eastern Golf Club's new Greg Norman Design golf course. The course, clubhouse and other recreational facilities will be open mid 2015 and guests of Yering Gorge Cottages will be able to access the course and other facilities as part of their accommodation booking.

We hope to see you back soon.

Just had a lovely 3 nights here - many thanks to Ross for his friendly, professional and helpful manner - my Mum and I greatly enjoyed our catch up half way between the ACT and Tas. Thanks to Sharon who was a big help via phone prior to our booking. Yering Cottages are beautifully situated, have everything in them that you could need for a short or long stay and manage to combine privacy with amenity really well. Beautifully clean, lovely bathrooms and lots of great space inside and on the deck. Generous supplies of all you might need, full size fridge, sofa and dining areas were great, as was the combo of aircon and wood heater in the main room. We had peace and quiet, a lovely fire, and plenty of great wines and cheese from nearby. Ross is well-versed in the local places 'to go' and his advice regarding what might suit us was spot on, and we made sure to mention his recommendations to those places we visited. A bunch of great walks available on the property which is on the banks of the Yarra - I would recommend this as a great option to anyone and will definitely be back - excellent place, excellent facilities and excellent people. Thanks guys, appreciated it very much.

Room Tip: We booked a 2 bed room cottage, but the 1 bedrooms looked fine to me too.

We were after a country cottage with great views ,privacy,a fire but not too far away from attractions and great wines and Yering Gorge delivered on all. Forget about the reviews about the drive being a bit rough and yes it is but it takes about 5 minutes to do it but then its just perfect. The 1 bedroom cottage is huge but it was just what we were hoping for and the view from the long decked balcony was great. Kangaroos, magpies, sulphur crested cockatoos, currawongs, scarlet robins, kookaburras and eastern rosellas visited daily. We enjoyed the several walks along the Yarra River and through the well marked bush tracks taking in the gorge and farmland views. The breakfast basket was more than substantial plus the fresh bread and daily newspaper was a great bonus. A place we would love to return to and highly recommend

Room Tip: Very romantic-ask for the "Waterfall" cottage as its on its own.

Everything they mention on their website is perfectly true! We had amazingly great time at our Valleyview Cottage.
The cottage was modern, comfortable & clean.
The area & views are absolutely beautiful!!! We stayed in April & it was a bit chilly in the mornings - otherwise i will indulge in morning yoga with kangaroos & foggy valley view.
LOVE IT! and will be back!

Room Tip: All cottages are identical. We stayed at Valleyview #6 - it was perfect!

Thank you for the great feedback Alissa_FDNA - the Valleyview is one of our favourites too! Next time, ask for Waterfall, its out most private cottage at the back of the property and the closest to Yering Gorge. Hope to see you soon. Ross & Sharon
