Nice little B&B on a hilltop in Walhalla. There's not a massive amount to do in this tiny town but it's worth a visit because 1)it's just so darn CUTE and 2)this B&B served possibly the best breakfast I've ever had!! Sitting on the balcony in the fresh air, chatting to the birds and the affable hosts, eating thick country bacon, fruit, pancakes, gourmet scrambled eggs or a range of things from their menu... what could be nicer? A few sociable kookaburras are fed while sitting on the balcony rail or perched photogenically on a rocking horse. The hosts have gone to a lot of trouble and it made the whole experience really magical.
The room itself was compact, cosy and clean. No TV but even that was sorta nice for a change! Snacks, tea and coffee all provided. But seriously, do it for the brekkie!
