We have been to the Firehouse a few times and regard the restaurant as the best restaurant in the area. Tonight however, I feel let down and the need to wright a review.
The food was great, service excellent. I had a glass of lovely red and wanted to move onto a bottle. The wine expert / sommelier brought out a bottle decanted to the table. This was the last one and it was beautiful. The wine after the first glass started to oxygenise quickly and went bad and undrinkable. I mentioned this and the wine was taken away abruptly as though this was an insult, with no offer of a replacement. unfortunately when we got the bill we were charged for the full bottle. After raising the issue this was reduced to half. I still feel that in this situation, it should have been removed completely. And I should have been offered another wine to drink with my meal. This was not so and we left with a sour taste in the mouth. Because of this. I will now think again about returning.

Food yummy but a bit noisy, lovely building and very convenient to Ringwood location. They have excellent breakfast menu.

A wonderful atmosphere in the old firehouse, lots different rooms that can be cosy and private or more open and on show. Staff are friendly and the food is deliciously different - and plenty of it. The price can get hefty so not an everyday brunch kind of place but certainly somewhere for that special event with the family/friends.

Very cleverly architectured, this restaurant is like none other. The food was delicious, gluten free for coeliacs available, a tad noisy, open for breaky, lunch and dinner, it is slightly over-priced, but worth the money for the quirkiness.

Visited after friends recommended it, we went for lunch on a weekend day, impressive menu but it didn't live up to expectations. Friendly staff however they seemed to be very busy doing very little. Dishes serves were smartly plated but something was missing, I will return to see if it lives up to its billing
