We finally visited this Bistro for a meal after hearing many good reports despite my doubts. However I should have known that the good reports were from people who wouldn't know good food if it slapped them in the face. The menu was as dull as any other residential pub, & not worth discussing. On the positive side, the garlic bread was nice. I ordered vegetarian carbonara because there was little else to choose from. It was luke warm, stodgy & tasted of nothing but garlic. However I had to add salt because it was so tasteless. My fellow diners had a sub average looking, very average tasting Nasi Goreng, a boring looking 'paella' that was served on a plate rather than in a paella pan, meaning that it was in fact rice & seafood rather than a true paella, & the remaining diner had barramundi which was satisfactory but too salty. The bar was severely understaffed & it took 15 minutes to get 4 drinks which is unacceptable. We cannot understand how anyone could rate this place higher than 3, because that is overly generous. Perhaps they could employ some chefs rather than line cooks, increase the number of bar staff & improve the service. However we won't be back, & we certainly don't recommend it.
