The log cabins in the tree lines offer stunning views and there is plenty of wildlife. The room we stayed in was called 'wattle' and was comfortable and clean, however, the floorboards beneath the carpet moved each time we walked over them. Because there was a room adjoining ours, every time they walked around we felt it too. It's not a huge deal as our neighbours were pretty quiet, but something to bear in mind if you're a light sleeper.
The best thing about this property is the hikes hey have. We took a 2 hour hike to champagne falls and bridal veil falls and they were stunning! There are a variety of hikes for all fitness types and they are less frequented than those at cradle mountain.
My only gripe was the cost of eating at their restaurant. Because of the remoteness of this property, you are limited to bringing food with you (there were no facilities to cook with in our room) or eat at their restaurant. It was around $48 for two courses which are average dishes a bit of a monopoly really.More
