The hotel was recommended by the owners of the Fig Tree B&B, who picked us up from the ferry and drove us to hotel and back for lunch. 4 of us were very impressed with everything; from the spectacular ocean views, stylish outdoor settings and the meal. We were welcomed warmly by Richard, who was most helpful in moving tables to ensure we got the best spot, as well as giving friendly and helpful service. We all had the Seafood Catch: a platter of fresh KI crumbed whiting, calamari rings and prawn with scallop skewers all served with crisp yummy chips and a refreshing green salad for $30. Delicious. Good selection of wines at reasonable prices. Richard must have heard us mention it was a birthday celebration and he appeared after mains with a complimentary large slice of carrot birthday cake, complete with candle. Richard, you made our day....we will certainly recommend and be back next time in Penneshaw.
