My friends and I had such as lovely time at Eden Lodge. The accommodation was very comfortable and accessible. The hosts were very friendly and social. It was great socialising with them and the other guests over wine and cheese. Breakfast was delicious and even catered for my gluten-free request. Thank you so much!

Dear Amy

Thank YOU (and your husband) for choosing Eden Lodge for your special treat/getaway. As no doubt you realise we also love socialising with the guests especially when there is so much laughter during Happy Hour. Funny about that!

Regards Julie

We recently stayed at Eden Lodge. Although due to wedding commitments we could not enjoy all the hospitality of our gracious hosts.Especially the happy hour on the deck. The port in the common room was a very nice touch, the coffee pod machine was also well received. Breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were quiet and very well appointed. Very comfortable. I recommend this place highly.

Eden Lodge is a beautiful relaxing B&B away from the busier local towns, but easily accessible if wanted. The hosts are very friendly, lovely appointed rooms with good quality bedroom and bathroom linen making for a great nights sleep. The views from the deck are lovely making it a beautiful place to start the day with a great home cooked breakfast. The coffee, biscuits, port and chocolates available in the guest lounge also went down very well, as did happy hour with local cheese and wine!!! Well done to Charlie and Julie for making our stay so enjoyable. We wish you well for the future of your new business and I am sure we will see you again soon. Angela & Robin

Having stayed in a few Nambour motels to allow easy access to the hospital, this was a treat. Very comfortable, great breakfast (at a time to suit our early departure) and extremely friendly hosts who seem to really enjoy the sociable aspects of running a B&B. This area is gorgeous (although the views from the house do not pack the punch that driving along the ridge brings) - lovely places to eat (lunch at Flame Hill in Monteville particularly good altho pricier than some other local eateries). Good coffee/hot choc machine a bonus and biscuits provided too.

Dear Kathyrn

Thank you for your lovely review. I must admit that family visiting sick relatives in Nambour Hospital was not a demographic we had considered! Pleased that you were able to receive our hospitality and relax before heading home. Hopefully we will see you again in happier times.

The breakfast was wonderful very accommodating for dietary requirements and everything was fresh. Thanks so much Charlie & Julie, Can't wait to come again sometime!

Thanks,

We stayed at Eden Lodge for two nights and I must say that it was very enjoyable. Both Julie & Charlie are delightful hosts and go to no end of trouble to make sure that their guests enjoy a comfortable stay. The rooms are bright, airy and tastefully decorated with quality bed and bathroom linen, full ensuite, reverse cycle air con, electric oil heater, flat screen TV with Foxtel, fridge, kettle.

Breakfast on the deck, looking out at the beautiful view to the ocean was certainly a great start to the day with fresh local fruit, freshly squeezed juice, homemade bread and jams plus the delightfully cooked corn fritters, eggs tomatoes, mushrooms etc. Charlie was the chef & Julie the waitress both making sure that the guests were happy and well fed.

After a busy day it was great to come back, relax in the lounge, talk to other guests and enjoy a coffee from the array of coffee pods. Every second night our hosts held a cheese & wine Happy Hour which was most enjoyable before going out to dinner. Coffee, Port & chocolates are also available when you return, which is a great finish to the day before retiring to bed,

Both my wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Eden Lodge and look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Brian & Meryl

Room Tip: All rooms (3 of them) and cottage are great.

We went up here on a voucher and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were small, but adequate given you are only using it as a base to explore the area. Breakfast with freshly squeezed juice was yummy and came with the lovely personality from our hosts. Sitting on the deck enjoying the morning view was a lovely way to start the day. Happy hour was a lot of fun, although could have started a little earlier so that you could go out to dinner without a tummy full of cheeses, but is full of laughter & nice wine. Great spot close to mapleton, and the falls, and a quick drive into montville. Included wifi and foxtel for a lazy morning was a bonus. Overall, a lovely weekend!

Thanks Robyn for the comments and taking the time to write your review.

The Jonathan room is the 'coziest' room and why we have priced it accordingly. In relation to the Happy Hour we have a golden house rule that 'drink-a-clock' time is 6pm however we can emphasise that guests do not have to stay for a full hour :)

We enjoyed your company and look forward to welcoming you and Michael back one day (book the Garden Cottage!)

Cheers Julie and Charlie
