What a lovely relaxing place to stay! We stayed in a cabin and loved having our own private verandah and BBQ to cook on. There was great attention to detail to make the room comfortable, salads and meat were provided as was a bottle of wine! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends.

Just a tip...don't bother yourself. My family visited and we still cry with laughter about how "dupped" we were! We weren't expecting anything BUT 3 stars and although we may have seen a lot in the night sky i didn't see any reflecting off the cabins! Worst points....all ammenities need MAJOR love & care! TLC...could be something special if closed down and some effort was put in! Just a tip...look at all the owners responses...In hospitality you are only as good as your worst review...Instead of arguing with everyone perhaps the owner/s should take heed and fix this mess....It is in such a state of disrepair (grounds/ammenites) that it really needs to be shut to fix it!

Room Tip: Rooms somewhere else would have to be better

My husband and I wish to thank Ann and the team for a very special anniversay stay, the peace and tranquility was just what was needed. To be able to lay back and look out at the trees with the fire burning in the fireplace (no really it was a bit chilly one day) and listen to the birds, I just don't have enough words to describe how beautiful it is.
The spa was an added bonus to a relaxing stay, we didn't do the walking trail, maybe next year for our 6th Anniversay we will do the walk and then have a spa bath.
Many many thanks for your hospitality.

Room Tip: We stayed in Cabin no 7 this is very private, just be prepared to carry your luggage and groceries through the forest a short distance. Well worth it. And the spa by the pool is great relaxation.

My partner and myself stayed at Tanglewood Gardens 19th and 20th October. We had originally booked a cabin with out a wood heater due to all other cabins with heater were booked out. The owner Ann was very welcoming and informed us we were going to be in a cabin now with a wood heater :). Very happy with that as it was very overcast and cold..there was heapsnof wood to keep the fire going all night. I loved sitting back watching the fire and listening to it crackle.

Ann was very helpful with things to do at Tanglewood Gardens, everything we required for the 2 night was located in the room so we had no need to be interupted or go chasing anything up. The cheese platter and wine were waithing for us as was the breakfast hamper and meat and salad were in the fridge for dinners both nights.

The cabin was cute and cosy, very clean and tidy - a little outdated but what do expect for a 3 1/2 star :) I was very happy for the price and loctaion.

I loved lying down in bed listening to the rain on the roof, listening to nature. what a wondeful place to go and just get away from it all.

Tv reception wasnt the best, but you get that when you in that kind of rurual area, they had a DVD player so we wnet and hired a couple of dvds from the Video shop in Malaney, they required a $20 deposit just so you take the dvd back.

thanks Ann for making us feel welcome.

Room Tip: make sure you get a room with a wood heater because the weather is very unpredictable :)
