$71 for an average breakfast for three adults and one child is crazy. In this establishment one must queue to pay and order, but yet pay silver service prices! The food is good, but made to look like larger portions through the use of very thickly cut bread, so obvious to a person who eats out regularly, such as I do.

I am also of the serious opinion that having to queue to order and pay, the staff have no right to have a collection glass for tips when you are paying. Quite intimidating, said a woman behind me considering that the customer is doing the work. I looked at the glass and observed a $20 note, two 10$ notes, three $5 notes, smiled to myself and thought, you clever people putting $20 and $10 notes in there yourselves, no wonder the lady behind me feels a little intimidated!

Look up my review on Blue Resorts in Bargara, and take my advice, do not have breakfast out in either here or in Salt restaurant, also another review written today, they are both crazy on price!

Spend your money on food for breakfast in your apartment. Cost per person = ££££ where it should be priced is ££

I should have known better! Went here approximately 3 years ago for breakfast. It was a shameful in all respects. Dad had dinner previously and had advised it was definitely to be avoided. I shouldn't have been so stupid but it thought it might have improved. The chefs should be ashamed and the owner should admit failure. What a disgraceful excuse for food. For the money paid we could have eaten at a renowned restaurant in one of the countries capital cities. Please be WARNED as it's very average and very disappointing.

The setting is beautiful, both inside and looking out. So we were hoping for something special, but it was a disappointing experience and we won't be going back. Of the two starters and two mains, one was very good, but the other three were very ordinary. The service was a shocker with repeated times having to repeat the order, then still being wrong when the bill came; that plus multiple staff seeming to wander around, asking us the same questions that another staff asked before -- That happened so many times we lost count -- and NOT asking the questions that should've been asked, like 'would you care for desert or coffee?'...argh!

Lamb was good but never like when you have to order veggies/side separate. Our mistake was we only ordered one serve of veggies. Not enough for the two of us. Desert was good.
They forgot to serve entree!
Just got main course.

Have always said Great Food but Slow Service.
But today was disgusting. We were being taken to a seat, but then told we could sit anywhere, choose your own, and left alone. Maybe that is why we never got a server allocated. . .
Waited ages and had to ask to give our order.
Then waited ages again. Eventually we asked where our order was.
We were never approached by anyone ever to see if we wanted anything.
Tables around us had constant service.
When we realised our order had not been put in, we reported this to manager, who did not care at all. Needless to say we left very hungry, disappointed, angry.
Being local our voice will actually hopefully create them as much grief as they just caused us.

What really happened was: you were taken to your allocated table upon your arrival to the restaurant and then for some reason unknown to us, you took it up on yourself to change tables without making anyone aware of it. By doing so you seated yourself in a different section out of sight of your allocated wait person, who assumed that you must have left the premises.

We know for sure that the waitress in your newly chosen area had asked you numerous times if she could get you something, she even provided you with some water, but your reply always was that you were fine. Unfortunately the situation became very awkward and the waitress reported to the manager that you had become increasingly agitated toward her while enquiring about your meal and drink order and she was genuinely scared to go back to your table.

Before the matter could be investigated by the manager you had taken it upon yourself to attend the bar and abuse her (as noted by other customers), your voice was raised and angry in fact very threatening, the staff were intimidated. It had been a very one sided conversation because after letting loose of all your anger on our manager you stormed out of the restaurant . There was no time for the manager to resolve this matter before you just left.

In future when dining at any establishment you should consider the way you approach a problem like this. Perhaps it would have been a better outcome if you had shown common etiquette and attended the bar or obtained the attention of a staff member. Instead you have become enraged by the situation that could have simply been fixed.
