We were fortunate to dine on a Friday evening when both the Sautéed Escargot (not in shell) and the Shrimp and Parmesan Grits were on the appetizer portion of the menu. Each was outstanding both in presentation and flavors. The menu changes weekly, so if you see one of these listed, do your palate a favor and order. Our entrees were also quite delicious- a filet mignon and a rockfish. Unfortunately, we did not have room for any of the tempting desserts displayed table side.
Do make reservations, particularly for a Sat night, as far in advance as possible, i.e. More than a week ahead. The dining room is intimate, casual and affords a view of the food preparation. The service was attentive.
Because we were celebrating an anniversary, we were presented with a personalized printed souvenir menu, which was a lovely touch.

We drove specifically to the town of Orange to have lunch here at a friend’s suggestion. Well-worth the drive. Even though the gourmet aspect of this restaurant supposedly doesn’t kick in until dinner, lunch here was excellent. The chicken salad was better than any we’ve had before, and the lamb gyro (with a Caesar salad side) was excellent. Dessert was a peach and fig crisp with very good vanilla ice cream. Service was down-home friendly and attentive. Ambiance was very pleasing --- small and cozy and doing a very brisk luncheon trade for a Tuesday. Overall value was excellent. We’ll definitely be back for lunch and probably for dinner at some point.

We took a discriminating guest here for lunch, with every confidence that she would enjoy it - and indeed she did. The food is excellent, as is the service. I had my favorite garlic chicken sandwich with a side of their delicious potato salad, our guest had a plentiful and tasty salad, and my husband enjoyed his ham and cheese sandwich.

We eat here regularly, and always recommend it to folks looking for a meal that is a cut above the ordinary.

A small but quaint restaurant right in the middle of town. The food was flavorful and good, and it is clearly a local favorite. Will definitely here again next time I'm in town.

My husband and I sat down with Executive Chef Randy Cooper in January to casually talk over our plans for catering options for our wedding over Labor Day Weekend. Eager to help, Randy was attentive, easy to talk to and very approachable as we began to discuss how we could best feed approximately 120 guests in an outdoor wedding during the peak of summer's heat. Randy offered up a viable plan in terms of how to best execute the menu, while still listening to our input of specific food items. In the months that followed our initial meeting, Randy and his assistant, Laura, were responsive and considerate. When it came time to deliver the plan, the food was impressive. Randy's catering team provided us and our guests top notch service throughout our entire wedding. The lamb and fish were both outstanding. As the bride and groom, Randy's team made sure to track us down so that we could eat and enjoy the food. The guest feedback was all positive and even a chef who works with my husband commented on the tastiness and presentation of the food. Preparing and serving hors d'oeuvres, entrees, and dessert for 120 people is no easy feat, especially when transporting from a kitchen to an outdoor tent. We couldn't be more pleased with Randy and his team for a job well done!
