This review is about the Willow Grove restaurant - Vintage. My review of the Inn was misfiled under the restaurant. Too much trouble to get it straight. We had the fortunate opportunity to enjoy the Wednesday tapas that allowed us to sample the chef's various full course selections. Two couples enjoyed a variety of tastings. Our favorites were the baby spinach- orzo salad, strip steak, crab cake, halibut taco and mac & cheese accompanied by a great bottle of Pinot Noir. The second night we all had the pan seated chicken with an unbelievable cauliflower casserole that could have been a meal by itself. A friendly and accommodating staff made it that much more enjoyable.

Room Tip: Cottage versus an inn room.

Your review may have been misfiled, but it is deeply appreciated! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Tapas Wednesday is such an incredible opportunity to sample the wide range of Chef Daniels’ mouth-watering cuisine, and at $5 a plate it is such an amazing value. Come back and see us again soon!

We stayed at Inn at Willow Grove for 2 nights in June 2013. It's a quintessential small, boutique hotel with the advantage of also being an 18-century neoclassic plantation house. The inn and the restaurant both exceeded our expectations. We're an hour and a half away, and plan to return in the future for weekend getaways.

I surprised my husband for our 23 wedding anniversary and booked a room at the Inn at Willow Grove. When we arrived I was surprised and pleased to find that we had been put in The Weaver's Cottage. It was beautiful! Fireplace, signature candle, wonderfully comfortable bed and beautiful linens, a front porch that we took full advantage of, tea and dessert at turn down, beignets and coffee delivered in the morning, heated bathroom floors, 39 acres to explore, but best of all - a butler named Phillip that was always a step ahead of us but provided us the peacefulness our usually crazy life doesn't allow. Diana in the pub kept our drinks coming and even offered us a treat for our anniversary but we had already been spoiled enough. Will definitely be going back soon and have recommended it to anyone and everyone! Friends of ours are now changing their reservations for their upcoming weekend away to the Inn at Willow Grove.

Hi Alice,
We want to send you a huge thank you for the wonderful wedding weekend.
Everything was absolutely perfect...better than we could have imagined.
Your helpful advice and attention to every detail made the planning go so
smoothly. We are grateful to have had your help every step of the way, and
really enjoyed our meetings with you.

Chef Daniels (no surprise here) did a fantastic job with all the food. From
the rehearsal dinner for a rowdy crowd, to lunch the next day (raves on the
lobster knuckle), to the outstanding wedding dinner, the crazy delish
gazpacho, warm spinach salad (best salad I ever had...ever), to the
cake...perfectly delicious, perfect texture, exceptional sinful
filling...the most incredible cake I ever tasted! My daughter Michelle was
so in love with the white bean salad that she tried to recreate it back at
my house. Thank you Chef!

A big thank you to Cody for his hard work. The chef's table dinner could
have been a real challenge with that crowd, but he handled it with ease,
knew the menu inside out and made it fun for all of us. He set up The Hall
exactly the way we wanted it and was a joy to work with. Such a nice guy!
Kaitlyn did a great job helping my cousin choose exactly the wine she
wanted. What a great staff.

Matt always made us feel welcome...it's that kind of management that makes
us want to come back again and again.

My cousin left me a voicemail that said, "Tom and Renie...you two could not
have done one single thing to make the weekend any better. It was
FABULOUS!"

Our heartfelt thanks,
Renie and Tom

You simply cannot go wrong choosing The Inn at Willow Grove for your wedding destination! The owners have taken a charming Inn in a beautiful setting and made it exceptional. The grounds are lush with towering old trees, lovely boxwood gardens, flowers and fountains, and quaint cottages. The cottages, rooms, and every space within the Inn is tastefully furnished and beautifully appointed. The venues available for every part of your celebration are unique and varied enough so that everything from the rehearsal dinner, straight through to the farewell brunch the day after the wedding can be held on site and in a different location. The staff offers the highest level of service in a friendly, professional manner and the Inn's wedding coordinator, Alice Dalton, ensures that everything runs smoothly. As parents of the groom, we had the pleasure of working with Alice, Chef, and Cody to arrange for the rehearsal dinner, which we hosted in the Hall, with cocktails before and after on the outdoor slate patio. They helped us execute a casual, but classy evening with just the right food, service and ambiance. It was the beginning of what we always will remember as a magical weekend.

My husband and I got married here August 31, 2013 and it was better than I had even imagined! Our entire family and some of our bridal party stayed on property and it felt like our own little oasis. It was great for all of us to be together for the weekend. Each morning we were greeted with coffee and treats and each night tea with a dessert! The service was phenomenal! Alice Dalton our wedding coordinator did a fabulous job getting everything done and put my nerves at ease seeing that this was a destination wedding for us! We left feeling very pleased, relaxed and have made the best memory thus far at the Inn! Thank you to all the staff at the Inn at Willow Grove for making our wedding weekend so beautiful!

My boyfriend, Cliff, and I ended up here for a birthday dinner. Cliff claimed the filet to be the best he has ever had in his life. Cliff who doesn't not like seafood, loved the crabcake and the snapper the chef sent out. The tuna I had was so good with the bbq sauce that I was very nervous about since I don't normal like bbq. Our server Lisa was on point with everything and Chester was great. We can't wait to return and to try the Sunday buffet. The atmosphere was cozy and totally different than a normal boring restaurant.

Thank you! Executive Chef Jason Daniels’ regional American cuisine “with a twist” is truly unique and inspired. We are certainly not a boring restaurant! Our menus change with the seasons, and with our special weekly offerings like “Gourmet Tapas Wednesday”, “Three on Thursday” Chef’s Tastings and our decadent a la carte Sunday Brunch, we keep every day of the week interesting!
