Went for a celebratory dinner with my husband and in laws. In laws are very fussy eaters. We were really impressed at the food, they did as requested in regards to seasoning etc. husband declared best steak hes had in a long time(he eats about 1 a week!) and was very keen to go back to this restaurant. The reason i give it 4 stars rather than 5 is this:- we did go a second time and although the meal was lovely they got the husbands order wrong so they took the meals back to the kitchen which ended up in the steak becoming quite dry as they were obviously kept heated whilst the mistake was corrected. On this occassion i had the chicken dish which was nice but nothing special. The menu for me is not so great as i prefer a chicken or vegetable dish but there is only one chicken dish on the menu and no vegetarian mains. The husband did point out this is a steak house after all.....but i still believe there should be a vegetarian dish on offer...! Price is very reasonable for such a good steak, we will certainly be coming back. Best restaurant type meal we have found in penrith.

Several visits, great food. Steaks are fabulous. I have eaten there solo and with big groups, always spot on.
Be careful of wine selection
Wine list includes Spy River sav blanc from Marlborough at $44. Label does not say where it was bottled or by whom. Google does not show Spy River as a winemaker. That said, most of the list was quite good and well priced.

Took my in-laws (who were visiting from the USA) to this amazing resturant. The food was delicious (steaks, perfectly cooked), well presented and reasonabley priced. Service was great but l suggest making a booking. There were 8 for us and all the meals were served together and hot. Desserts were exceptional and a must. Wine list is extensive - all in all EVRYONE was pleased with there meal and it was the talk of their vacation.

With a range of steaks available, you can't go wrong here. Choose your steak, choose how you want it cooked, consider adding a sauce or butter. It's a steak place, forget the other mains.

Went there for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday celebration and everyone was very happy with their meal. I have a rib-eye, cooked medium, with a horseradish cream - perfect. My wife had a sirloin, cooked medium-well with a mushroom ragout - steak was perfect although the ragout looked a little thin. Mother-in-law had a rib-eye, cooked medium-well with a Diane sauce - perfect. Parents had the Chicken Supreme with prosciutto and sage on a sweet corn risotto - perfect. Father-in-law had the lamb - cooked well-done - perfect.

We got bruschetta pizza and garlic pizza to kick off - really good - fresh sliced tomato and a balsamic reduction with parmesan over the top - really nice. Some shared a deli platter - nothing left on it when they'd finished.

All mains are served with a salad of rocket & pear and a bowl of chips and aioli (for the table to share) so you only take as many as you want, rather than getting loaded up with a chef's perception of what constitutes the right amount.

Only 1 minor issue - someone had the pork neck, and whilst it tasted great, it was let down at the pass by not removing the plastic wrap. They offered her a replacement, but she'd almost finished and didn't need a full meal, so offered a free dessert.

We didn't bother with desserts, as we were doing a birthday cake, but they did sound quite good, and the "free dessert" went to the mother-in-law, made up with some birthday candles. A really good chocolate tart, served with a citrus segment salad and a wonderful lemon curd.

Would I come here again? DEFINITELY - even if only to have a steak that is cooked exactly how I asked for it, which has been a rarity in many restaurants for a long time.
