We ate here today for lunch. The restaurant was nicely presented and were attended to straight away. The selection of food was good and taste was great. The menu showed you the prices of the dishes which was good and waiters were very friendly. Overall good experience and reasonably priced also. Will return

3 of us went for a Saturday lunch ...

The spring rolls were tasty, the pork sang choy bow was dry, the scallops in ginger and shallots were undercooked (what a surprise, most people overcook them), the sizzling pepper steak was very tender (but was served in a bland cream based sauce … yuk). The chicken chow mein was served with crispy noodles and black bean sauce (exactly as we requested) and was yummy.

Another negative was that the mains arrived whilst we were still eating the entrees.

Sorry, 2 good dishes out of 5 is not good enough. We won’t return.

Have eaten here before off the menu and the food and service were good.

Decided to give the Sunday lunch yum cha a go and lucked out.

We were stuck at a small table against the wall and whilst the restaurant was not busy overall, we were continually trying to get a waiters attention to get more food (the opposite to China Town where you are constantly waiving waiters away).

Whilst the yum cha dishes were ok, they were nothing special and at $55 for two (without liquor) we felt were overpriced.

In a nutshell ...

Service - Poor
Food - Ordinary
Price - Expensive (for what we had).

Will give it another go for a la carte but definately not for yum cha.

PS. We tried to book, but were advised they don't accept bookings for yum cha ??

We tried the Ming once, never again. Menu looked good. Waited forever to be served when we were, we were grunted at. They couldnt change any of their dishes even though the waitress said they could so when my food came (40 minutes after ordering) I ended up with food I couldn't eat. I asked them to change it and explained that the waitress had agreed when I ordered but they wouldnt take it back or make the change. We paid a fortune for awful food and terrible service. I didn't tip and we won't be going back!
