We attended a wedding during a very freezing weekend. I was part of a group having dinner at the cottage and it was amazing food. A lovely variety of meats and fish with veggies. The owners were wonderful.

The owners can't be held responsible for the rain and wind but the setting is gorgeous. The barn for the reception looked like it was from a fairytale - very romantic - and the table settings were gorgeous. While it was a very cold night, there was an open fire blazing away in the barn and lots of gas heaters. The food was absolutely amazing. Beautiful tender meats, lovely hot veggies and desserts to make you quit your diet for the night.

Due to the strong winds, the power went off during the evening but the generator meant the food was still served hot and we still had good lighting. The staff took everything in their stride - and so did the bride, groom and bridal party. It was a fantastic evening.

We traveled on the Bells Line Rd for a Sydney getaway for the day. Our club and another club we teamed up with all converged on this site like a swarm of bees. Nothing was too much trouble, even when I announced very late that my husband was gluten free. The girls on the bar and the waitresses were so courteous. The food was great and compliments to the chef. Just a great place, a rustic feel in an old shearing shed scenario. With beautiful surrounds. Definitely a perfect get out of town drve on a Sunday. I would definitely revisit Collits Inn again.

Did not know about this place, until we saw it on our wedding invitation. We came from Medlow Bath for the reception held here at Collits Inn, and what a beautiful spot it is. The function was held in the barn and worked really well, although tables and chairs had to be move for the dancing (some of us oldies left before that). The food was great, and there appears to be cottage accommodation, so it would have been interested in checking them out. They needed more toilet facilities for men especially for a large function most likely the women’s were the same. It definitely felt like you were in the country. Great venue for functions, and have just visited the website to look at the accommodation associated with it.

A most stunning venue for a wedding! Canapés by the pond under the trees where the ceremony was held. Drinks in the gardens, quirky art pieces around and oddities abound. Dinner in a masterfully presented room combining country chic with hipster post-modernity. Not easy to pull off!

Fantastic dinner of shared plates, plenty to go round, and the wine kept coming. The staff were so subtle as to be almost unnoticeable. S unobtrusive that we felt like we were at a friends property.

Post dinner drinks by fires around the pond.

Magical.

A group of us had a get together here. We were shown around the period accommodation which is furnished sympathetically. There is a huge function room adjacent to this with a beautiful cottage which is ideal for weddings etc. The website says no booking necessary but I recommend checking because it has become very popular and if there's a function on, the restaurant is not always open.
Thie food was delicious and I can recommend the Argentinian red wine !
