The check in process went well. The older guy at the check in was personable, informative and fair. Our party went out with Justin and Sam. It was a windy rainy day. No lifejackets were provided on from the shore to the boat. An the only time life jackets were worn at all was while we were sailing. The driver of the boat was not friendly. They got two of us strapped in and then started talking between them selves about the storm and the weather and rough water and had them unbuckle, get down and move to calmer waters like ten mi away...It shows on the video you would fly from the end of the boat and land on the boat. They thought it would be funny to dunk us which would have been fine if it was to dip our feet or something but to dip us chest deep when it was cold and stormy was uncalled for. This could have been much more fun had the instructors been more personable. Also I didn't like that some plastic zip ties seemed to be holding somethings together. To be fair we were flying much higher than other boats out there. Im not rating this horrible just could have been better. We had three hour parking and went a half hour over.

My husband flew in a triple harness with our kids, ages 7 and 9. The crew was very much about safety, and perhaps for that reason, there wasn't much interaction with the crew on the boat once we were on the water.

We loved the fact that if you don't want to get wet, you don't have to as you take off and land from the back of the boat. However, and naturally, our kids wanted to get dipped so the driver was happy to oblige. A few times. :-) Their smiles went from ear to ear!

They went up to 1200' of line, which is actually much lower in the air, of course. Nonetheless, it was a peaceful and fun experience for the family. We took advantage of UFO's September special posted on Facebook and that saved us $35 as I got to ride along for free and take photos. We did buy their video (posted on You Tube) which was pretty good. The blue shirts were also a hit with our kids and my husband for only $25/each which is a pretty good price for a long-sleeved shirt in Hawaii!

This was something our 10 year old wanted to do so we all did it. It was amazing! The views were beautiful and the experience was so relaxing until we got dunked (you don't have to get dunked, your choice), then we just laughed. Highly recommend UFO Parasail, the guys were really friendly and added to the enjoyment.

My wife and I para-sailed on our honeymoon while visiting Maui in Sept 2013. The crew was very professional and nice. I am scared of heights but it was a great experience. It was so peaceful 800 feet up. Halfway through the ride they bring you down and dip you in the water which was refreshing. Def would do this again.

We parasailed with UFO and had a blast. The boat ride was just as fun as the parasailing thanks to the Samoan guy's humor. Sorry, we didn't catch his name but he was a trip! In addition, the view was amazing! Deep blue waters and lush green mountains, couldn't ask for anything better. This was our first time parasailing and we felt completely safe. Highly Reccommend!!
