While staying in Culebra we decided to take a snorkeling trip to Culebrita. Everywhere you go you will see business cards and some kind of advertisement for these kind of activities. We picked a card at the grocery store. So we called "Captain Sebastian" he told us where to meet and from there we left in his boat to Culebrita. The ride was about 30 minutes long, but it was smooth. When we arrived, Capt. Sebastian helped us out with our coolers and other thing we brought to the island. He provided us with snorkeling gear. We arrived around noon and we stayed for 5 hours. We saw, turtles, different kind of fishes. From there you can walk to Turtle Beach. It was an amazing experience.

One of those beaches you can't die without visiting if you are in the Caribbean. Secluded and can only be reached by boat, which makes it very special.

We experienced Culebrita on a day trip on Captain Bill's catamaran. The island is gorgeous and a must see on your trip to Culebra. First we anchored near the entrance to the trail to the lighthouse. The sand was white and the water torquoise. We hiked up to the lighthouse and the view from there, as well as from parts of the trail, were breathtaking! Next we sailed around to Tortuga Bay where we snorkeled and saw some amazing reefs and fish. This island was one of the highlights of our trip!

Beautiful little island, accessible only by boat. Amazing white sand, short walk over to "the Jacuzzis", and a nice hike up to an old lighthouse with an amazing view of the island. THe highlight of my trip to Puerto Rico!

Our family recently visited San Juan, Puerto Rico and had a marvelous time. One of the many highlights of our trip was our snorkeling excursion to Culebra Island. I will give you the known fact that Flamenco Beach on Culebra Island has been rated as one of the top ten beaches in the world consistently. After having visited there, I would agree. The water is an amazing color from the beach to as far as you can see. You can see the bottom of the ocean and everything in it. The water feels so smooth like your bathing in milk and the white sand on the beach is so soft that you can lay right on it and amazingly it was not hot either. I am going to give a personal plug for the tour company that took us there. East Island Adventures. I have no connection with them at all but was so impressed. I am giving them the highest compliment. They are a well oiled machine. The boat was beautiful, the staff were wonderful and everything was done in such an orderly fashion. We had the best time. Our entire family spent the entire remainder of the vacation calculating how we could move there!!
