We planned a day in Culebra before arriving in PR. We couldn't buy tickets in advance becuase the web site would not let us . We arrived by car at the ferry term by 730am. Bought our tickets with no problem. The way they load the boat is residents first , online tickets than day of tickets . The boat ride is about 1 hour . It is totally worth it. Coming back they board the boat the same way and from my understanding from the locals people have been left behind. Once we arrived at the dock we rented a golf cart to go explore however the majority of the beaches on that island you can only get to by water taxi. I think rented a golf cart was a waste u less you just want to go drive around.
The beach was amazing. Crystal clear water. Beautiful . The water was calm on one side and mini waves on another. I think next time we go we going with a tour boat so we can see other beaches and know for sure we will get back without a issue. We went during off peak season so it was less crowded than normal but the boat was still sold out. THIS IS A MUST IN YOUR BUCKET LIST . YOU NEED TO GO TO CUELEBRA WHILE YOU ARE IN PUERTO RICO
One, if not the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Waters are clistal clear with enough sea life to keep you entertained all day long.
We took the ferry from Ceiba. The ferry ride was enjoyable... purchasing the tickets at the terminal may not be the best way to go, though. Tickets are available online.
This truly deserves being on the list of the most beautiful beaches of the world. Soft, warm sand. Long beaches. Calm, clear waters. Friendly islanders.
Flamenco beach at Culebra is the beautiful beach. We had a lovely relaxing time, beautiful place, no seaweeds during our visit, not a lot of visitors so we really enjoyed the beauty of the beach. It was worth to spent a day to take a walk on the soft sand, swim in the crystal clear water, take a lot of beautiful pictures. Highly recommend this beach especially if you are a beach lover.
