The waves were a little rough and stole my sunglasses, but once you get out past where the waves break, it is extremely pleasant. The water temperature is comfortable and the sand is very fine without rocks or shells. Stunning views and crystal clear turquoise water.

Visiting this beach was one of the highlights of our PR trip. You dont need guide or tour company to visit Culebra or Flamenco beach. The ferry ride from Fajardo is pretty cheap ($5 return trip). You can rent cabanas and buy some nice drinks and food next to the beach. I would rate this as one of the top3 places to visit in Puerto Rico. The residents were friendly and helped us with navigation.

Traveled to this beach because of the area and the beach itself. I would have preferred to have the vendors on the beach but they were away from the beach area. Also no water sports were offered at this site but the beach was restful n not too crowded.

This was my 1st time at Culebras. The beach was amazing. The best I have ever seen. We took the ferry in the morning and returned the same day. Definitely will come back with my family and visit also Tamarindo beach.

If you're used to St John, or maybe Turks and Caicos, this beach will be the closest we found to such places in Puerto Rico. Heavier waves but the sand was fairly soft and the water comfortable. If you take a walk down the beach there is a old tank on the beach - but before you get there, there's another tank painted full of graffiti that is set back that is very cool!
