There were storms the day we were there and we were unable to snorkel, but swam in the gorgeous clear water.

Flamenco Beach is guaranteed to make your jaw drop and stop you in your tracks. With almost 2 miles of fine white and pink sand, crystal clear turquoise and teal waters, and lush green hills wrapping themselves around the beach, you will have found paradise. Travelers come from all over the world to visit this very small, rural, and undeveloped island. This, too, is paradise. No street lights, no McDonald's ... and only 2 main roads leading to some of the finest beaches in the world. Small guesthouses dot the island, offering an intimate insight of the island. Many travelers decide to make an annual visit, the beauty is that breathtaking.

Just like the travel brochures say. It is one of the most picturesque beaches in the Caribbean. For snorkelers there is coral on either side with a half moon beach between. This is a really popular spot for vacationers and there is even a camping area that fills up on many weekends and holidays. The 10 or 12 food kiosks that are located at the entrance to the beach are all full of local specialties so if you are adventurous you can really try some great Caribbean food here...and the prices are very reasonable.

This is a wonderful asset to Culebra, Puerto Rico.

This beach is just beautiful. When you fly in from the main island, you fly right over and it is an amazing sight. A wide, clean, white sand beach - no development, just a few people. Calm clear waters with remnant coral reefs to snorkel. There is camping available and of course, the rest of Culebra is just a short distance away.

Clear waters and calm seas...great for families and for swimming. You won't regret it. The have food, drinks, beach chairs and umbrellas for rent, etc... This is my second time and plan on going back again!
