Met the KPR rep in Fajardo, got our tickets for the ferry and off we were to Culebra. The water was a bit rough, staff on ferry was kind enough to hand out barf bags and most people used them, felt like it was a scene of a movie! Once we got to Culebra, I saw the KPR guide Edwin and he directed us to the bus. Took the 7 min drive to Flamenco Beach as Edwin pointed out landmarks and some history of the island. Flamenco beach is beautiful! It has bathrooms, showers, kiosks (food stands) and beach chair/umbrella rentals. They also have a "store" when you can buy bathing suits, sunscreen, boogie boards, etc. We were there for a bit and got to enjoy the beautiful beach of Flamenco. We then boarded the bus and went to Tamarindo beach, Edwin was kind enough to give us a kayak 101 for us rookies. Here we also met Edwin's colleagues, forgot their names, one of them was a surfer which never forgot our names during the entire tour! We proceeded to take the kayaks and went snorkeling. The coral reef is beautiful, it's a preserved area, very clean and lots to see. Got back on the kayaks and headed to a different part of the beach where you get to snorkel with turtles and sting rays, the high light of the excursion! The staff of KPR sure makes the difference, they made you feel safe, appreciated, and welcomed to the Puerto Rico. You have to do this tour!!!!!!!!!! Big shout out to Edwin and his colleagues the surfer and the photographer (thanks for the directions to Bio Bay)

Top notch experience for me and my wife. Spectacular, reasonable priced, very knowlegeable guides, incredible scenery up and down under water. The guide explained and demostrated hands on how to explore the underworld full of colors and life. Great combination of activities that started with a high speed trip from Fajardo to Culebra on a 375 passenger Catamaran that in itself was amazing. The Cat trip lasted less than and hour. After arriving to culebra, they provided transportation to Flamingo Beach where we were free to play with big waves and eat local cuisine. We traveled to Tamarindo Beach later (transportation provided) to do one hour of Kayacking (each way) to later jump into the water for a few hours of snokeling with a detailed explanation of different formations and underwater life. This is were the guides shined with their skills and excitement. The guides also took amazing full color hi resolution action pictures (better than our pictures, they were send via link in Facebook afterward) of my wife and I with plenty of additional wild life in their natural environment (around 33 pictures including us) that I was very proud to show all my 400 facebook friends: Manta rays, sea turtles, underwater coral farms and many many different kinds of colorfull fish and underwater rock formations. The tour was limited to only 20 people. Be ready for a intense hands on of just plain old fashion fun that you will brag about at the office. You will probable have a very nice sleep after as you will needed.

Will do it again everytime I visit Puerto Rico (this time to include all my sons). I grew up in this island as a young man but never had so much fun like this.

Just book with these guys!!! Don't look elsewhere.
Knowledgable, fun, friendly & great Eco trip.. All three did a fantastic job. Brian, Christian & our main guide (whose name escapes me, I apologize) were really great. I never dreamed I would swim with sea turtles, much less have my pic taken while doing so. The kayaking was a blast, snorkeling was fantastic, beaches Award winning. You can't go wrong with KPR.

We (three -- mom, 54; dad, 53; daughter, 19) had a fantastic time. This rates among the single best day of any vacation we've ever had. Pre-trip communications were very clear and timely. We were met at the ferry dock in Fajardo just as the directions indicate we would be. The staff made sure we were on the ferry, and we very easily found our guide just as we got off the ferry on Culebra. We were greeted warmly, had a short narrated bus ride to Playa Flamenco, with a nice 2-hour stay on a remarkably beautiful beach with convenient amenities -- food and bathrooms. The bus then took us to a fabulous snorkeling beach (Playa Tamarindo). We had a reasonable kayak paddle (not too long, but long enough to feel you were kayaking) to a coral area, and snorkeled with coral, fish, lobsters, and other sea life. We paddled back to the beach and then (after a tasty snack) swam out to a seagrass area and snorkeled with sea turtles, rays, and more fish and coral. Our main guide, Edwin, was terrific. He was very knowledgeable (we are fisheries scientists, so we know when someone knows his stuff vs. makes it up), sincere, and very conservation-minded in instructing the guests on appropriate behaviors to not disturb the sea creatures unduly. A fabulous experience, and very reasonably priced.

We are a couple in our early 50's and wanted an active experience without all the drinks and lunch buffets advertised for many other snorkeling tours. This excursion was all about snorkeling, kayaking and some leisure time on a perfect beach.

On December 12, 2012 we saw more than a dozen sea turtles, an octopus, a couple eels, sea urchins, a few rays, and innumerable colorful fish and coral.

The folks running things were good at their job, enthusiastic, fun, & knowledgeable. This was our first time snorkeling. Later in the week we rented snorkeling equipment and snorkeled off the Three Steps beach in Rincon and had another incredible time.
