“Bartender ruins paradise!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2012 via mobile

Since we never got to the point to experience food this review only covers service. The bartender was rude - rude - rude! Our requests for drinks were greeted with sarcasm, sighs of inconvenience, unfriendly service and were super expensive nonalcoholic drinks. It's a shame too because over the years we have loved the environment and the food. It is not on our list to return any time soon. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY!

“Small town bar on a small island”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2012

We had a great time at the Dinghy Dock! We went one night for dinner when all of the other restaurants were closed because of elections. Our server was efficient, if not a bit overwhelmed. I'll never forget that when I asked what a Trigger fish is, she said it looks like a dog. But we ordered it anyway and it tasted great, so I'd say that honestly like that can't lose.

We went back another night for drinks. The place has a great small-town atmosphere and by the end of the night we felt as though we had some great conversations with the people around us.

Be sure to ask for a ride in Greg's catamaran if he's there!

“Casual, fun, many expats”

Right on the water, no pretense, good drinks and food. The natural sheltered bay was nice backdrop as patrons motored over for happy hour.

“Fresh Catch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2012

We had grouper fish and mofongo de yucca which was delicious. You dine right next to the water literally. We sat at table by the dock edge at the water was right next to our feet and there was not barricade. There was someone who fished for the restaurant and their specials were based on whatever he caught for that day. They normally caught grouper, lobster, and crab. Yummy!
