“Excellent in food and service.”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

This is a great little mom and pop restaurant with a nice flair. While located on the water's edge with a nice view, you have top put up with the cars racing by to get to the gas station if you eat befor 7pm when the gas station closes. After that the street is closed off and tables are put outside. The menu is diverse and interesting not a Puerto Rican menu. Sherry and I had a late lunch and wanted to eat light so we shared a salad and an entree. Both were terrific. Go there if you are on Culebra.

“Not Good!!”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

This place came highly recommended by a local.... I am not too picky or hard to please but when i takes you 1.5 hours to get your food that is NOT ok! When the cost of the food is pretty costly and comes out nearly frozen in the middle thats NOT ok! The Sangria is $50 a pitcher, no OK! Sorry Susie, but try again!

“Still very good food But....”

Do not get me wrong
The food is excellent. , but something new and creative is missing
Dessert menu needs big time improvement
Keep the classics in the menu but maybe adding a couple of new dishes could help.

“Fanciest place in town”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

The locals recommended this place--what a pleasant surprise! It felt like I was in a New York chic/dreamy island joint all at once. The food is the best! The cocktails are fancy, any way you like them. I found the prices to match other restaurants in Culebra, but the quality and atmosphere at Susie's were unbeatable!

“Just average”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

We arrived to culebra and made our first meal Susie's. we ordered codfish fritters and calamari...as a foodie I've had these a few times; average at Susie's. shrimp tempura was very good but the red snapper and the skirt steak very very dry. Unfortunately no one asked us how our meal was. I was very surprised by this lack of hospitality. Our server appeared to be a teenager who moved very slow and didn't ask how everything was. We are here for two more days....lets hope the other restaurants are a bit better and don't charge NYC prices for only average food!
