My family of five (and brother-in-law) stayed here for a glorious week this past March. It had everything we could ask for, and the property seemed to be the envy of the island. Having an entire peninsula to ourselves was a once-in-a-lifetime luxury. Joe and his wife were very responsive and helpful in our trip preparation -- and Joe kindly met us at the airport and then helped lead us to the property. The home is convenient to restaurants (including an amazing breakfast place just over the hill), the grocery store and several beaches. The sound system was incredible, and every detail seemed to be accounted for. You have access to two piers, and the infinity pool was a big hit with our kids, and the kitchen has everything you need and can accommodate more than a dozen people. Joe built the property himself over the years, and his workmanship is phenomenal. He also can give you recommendations on anything you need while on the island.
There was no sign of damage from recent hurricanes -- and no issue with power or water. Culebra is definitely open for business -- and this is the only place you should be looking at! Enjoy!
The house has everything you can think of. The owners have thought of everything. They are super nice and accommodating. The place is clean and has everything you'd need. You can relax in the hammock or in the pool, go fishing on the pier (gear supplied), go snorkeling (gear supplied), go to the small beach next door, make a meal in the large kitchen, or entertain friends.
We stayed there for 5 days along with other couples. As the review title says, on day one, we started making serious plans for the return trip. We've been to Culebra several times - no other place even comes close. Look at the pictures, they look like a post card.
