You haven't lived till you visit this beach, yummy the water was clear and warm. The food vendors sell fresh fattening food so you run the length of the beach to lose the weight

Went to Crashboat today, first time there as well as our first visit to tis island (except changing planes in the airport.) Was worried given reviews of trash... Little trash, we were given a trash bag at the gate. Nice sand, we were able to get shade under palms, which was necessary-it was hot!

Not too crowded (a Friday), and we got yummy pork and chicken skewers from a vendor - bargain!

Would go back for sure.

In an area of mostly treacherous high surf Crashboat offers a typically- but not always- calm alternative. We stayed in a condo overlooking Crashboat and went there 6 times in the 10 days we were there. Two times the waves were big, 4-5 feet but regular and not too choppy. The other times it was Cali great visibility for snorkelling. We saw big schools of baitfish and large 3 foot tarp in stalking them. Great empanadas and piña coladas at the kiosks. Great beach. Much better during the week but gets crowded oweekends.

Very nice little beach, great for swimming, snorkelling and dipping in and out of the sea. No big waves or swell here so perfect for those who don't want to do surfing.
Full of locals, with little local food stands, very clean beach and crystal clear waters.
Few families and people from local hotels, different vibe to the surfing beaches.

You must keep your eye out for the Pelican man! He looks after the Pelican's and they follow him everywhere, they all have a name and listen to him....pretty amazing to watch!
