“Save your money, Goes to a Public Beach”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

This was the biggest waste of money on our 12 day trip! We took 5 people for snorkeling. They were short on equipment and it was broken and what they had was not sanitary. Some kid attempted to have us follow him to a beach, when we got there there was no place to park because it was a public beach. There were people everywhere. He asked us for the number to the shop so he could call the owner...hello don't you work there? We were told we would be going on a boat. When questioned he said there as no boat, after paying our cash. The beach was awful. Our family named it diaper bay because of the filth, and yes diapers on the beach and in the water. The snorkeling was awful. The water was dirty and there were not many fish. We were told we would see pieces of shipwrecks and coins, we saw none but lots of garbage on the bottom of the ocean. The owner did give us each a certificate and shark tooth necklace. This was a complete waste of a day of our vacation and our cash. Was the horror story of our trip, which I did not provide all the details.

“Well, at least we survived!”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Did two dives with this outfit...one to the caves and one to a reef.

First, the Pros: The staff was really friendly. The dives are interesting and different. THAT IS ALL THE PROS.

Now the Cons: The equipment was in terrible shape. We had to set up all the gear at the shop. Seemed odd but then we knew why. Two of five of us had gear problems with one tank having the wrong 0-ring. For a two tank dive, they return to the shop to refill the same tanks rather than use second tanks because they can't count on them not leaking. The BCDs were very worn, buckles missing or broken, most without anywhere to clip second stage, etc. My regulator still had sand and saltwater in it...ugghh. They transport the fully prepared gear laying loose on the floor of a pick-up.

For the first dive, they didn't ensure that we each had a dive buddy which is important for a cave dive. They didn't discuss what to do if you have a problem in the cave. We had two dive masters for five recreational divers. During the second dive the groups separated completely and the second dive master almost left the pair he was with behind. One dive master used a dive flag, which is great...except he pulled it until it sunk to 6 feet of the bottom for most of the time. This same dive master stood on the reef at various points and would sometimes pull himself along by grabbing plants. Ridiculous.

After the dives we joked that we were lucky to have lived but there is some small truth to it as it could have been a disaster with the brutal equipment or poor guidance. Avoid avoid avoid.

One of my dive buddies has used Technical Divers in the same area and said they were vastly better. I suggest checking them out instead. It's a beautiful area to dive and visibility can be great, just don't endanger yourself with these guys.
