If you want to eat not only delicious, but have an aventurous culinary experience, I highly recommend this restaurant!! The presentation beautiful and you can really appreciate the chef's passion in his creations. You can also taste every bit of the high quality and freshness on the ingredients used in every dish. I didn't wait long for our food to arrive but if it was the contrary, wouldn't care the wait for the food is heavenly!!! It's definite, will be back!

“You cann't miss this One! Excellent Food!”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

We want to celebrate our anniversary and my wife have heard about this place called "Fu Fu" in the north side of the Island ... we decided to spend our July 4th vacations by this area! Some friends told her about this AfricanPuertorican cuisine and their Fusion of Flavors ...the desserts, African wines and sangrias... then we decided to have our Anniversary Dinner there! The waitress served their appetizer, "Fu Fu" and explained meaning of the name, which is an ancient recipe based on roots like yams from Ghana. The place is having like two areas, one decorated African style, the other Puertorrican, the ambience was good. I select the African wine, my wife a Tamarindo's sangria. My main plate was a Filet Mignon filled with Fu Fu with paella rice and my wife selected the West African Fu Fu with mamposteao black beans... great fusion of flavors, Excellent Experience! Amazing decoration, lovely, beautiful! for dessert we have the Fried cheesecake filled with lemon. Thank You for an unforgettable Anniversary! You make our celebration be a great Special ocassion! Great service, fair prices, Makes you feel "Special"...300 % recommended!!

“Excellent Restaurant! Delicious Food!”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

If you want to taste delicious food in a quiet family atmosphere I recommend them. Their waitresses are very attentive, friendly and pretty fast even when the place filled. The food (OMG) really delicious, they welcome us with some FUFU balls that were "riquisimas" the West African Fufu is super yummy (if you do not eat meat you can replace it with Kwasi, a black bean pastries super-rich) and if you want to try a bit of everything I recommend the Yeti Karibu Sampler. The passion fruit and mango sangria were delicious and the tamarindo one is not far behind. And finally tried the famous Fried Cheesecake with ice cream and a shot of chocolate and blue curacao. Again I have to say that the experience was unique!

“Incredible food, long vvait.”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

There is no doubt, the food really is good but having to vvait close to an hour and 17 minutes (timed) for just 2 plates(no appetizer or anything like that) vvhen there is only one other "group" (2 people) in the room vvithout so much as an apology vvhen the food arrives is a put off. Our server vvas friendly enough and the atmosphere is very nice. On the expensive side (for aguadilla), be ready to spend more than you're used to if you are a local. And vvait quite a bit too.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write you review! We are very glad to know that you found our food to be incredible. This is what we are trying to achieve with our food which is definitely the STAR of our gastronomic experience. We apologize for the lengthy time of your wait and recall having waited on your table late in our dinner service we also recall having more than just two parties at the time. The reason most of our guests find our food to be " incredible" is because we prepare everything from scratch and everything is also prepared at the moment of your request, freshness and passion for cooking are the two main ingredients in our food. Our regular customers understand that the time they will be waiting for their food is just a bit more than what you would expect at many other restaurants but then again our kitchen staff needs these extra few minute to deliver what you yourself have described as " incredible food". Thank you for visiting!
