This was our fifth holiday to Cuba and the Tryp went overboard to deliver - food the best we have experienced (in Cuba) with lots of choice in buffet and restaurants. We had a really good sea view room and cleaned well daily with some very nice personalised towel arrangements. OK we did have several days of rain but it 's nice use this time to explore the area - either walking or taking local transport. Downside, and this is the first time we have experienced this, Cubans on holiday. Very rude to their own never mind others - made buffet almost impossible with their greedy food requests. We will return to Cuba but not Tryp at this this time of year. We travelled May 14 -28 2014

All I can say about this hotel is that it is the best in the area, the food is brilliant so many different nationalities catered for, the staff couldn't do enough for us, the entertainment was good, didn't think too much of the nightclub but it was ok. The rooms were spotless. Swimming pools absolutely beautifully cleaned and looked after. All the restaurants were just great, food staff decor etc. The garden and grounds along with the inside lounges and dining areas were kept impeccably clean and tidy. The beach is to die for clean white sand beautiful sea green clear view sea. Absolutely beautiful hotel to visit. This was my first time as an all inclusive I would most definitely do it again. The staff were so polite not just the bar. It right down to the maids and the gardeners just lovely lovely people

Room Tip: Rooms by the Italian restaurant are quieter

This hotel was amazing lovely family memories friendly people beautiful scenery on arrival. Great food we loved it once we recovered from jet lag and so did our children. Great family holiday. Horse riding, swimming with dolpins and lots more if you can afford it after paying initial holiday fee. Only thing we were disappointed about was we couldnt go to havana it was fully booked so i suggest if you want to do that you prebook it before you go. Lots of rum and cigars for a male perspective which is enjoyable :) lovely great holiday.

Our 10th return trip! Amazing! we travelled mid April for one week. Weather was fantastic, only 1 night of rain for couple of hours. Our rooms were as requested, 3rd floor. Maid service was spectacular. Bottled water in room everyday day, fully stocked mini bar daily and fresh robes in closets. Certainly were given VIP repeat guest treatment.

The resort looked amazing. A few added items around the lobby bar, as well as around the resort. There was no new GM while we were there, however, William did an amazing job in the managers absence.
Guest Services went out of their way to make our stay the best ever. Thank you to Yudel. and thank you for your email.

As we only dine in the buffet for breakfast, we enjoyed it thoroughly. A special thank you to the smoothie bar lady. Always a big smile for us! Fiz was outstanding as usual.. best eggs in Cayo Coco!

Sidney at 24 hour bar made the best cafe con leche every morning for us... Gracias Amigo!

For lunch, always at beach bar with best waiter ever, Juan Francisco. Words cannot express our appreciation for what he does! Such a sweetheart.

We had a repeat guest luncheon in the Loma restaurant, with Osmany. Was very nice and tasty.

The beach... there are no words to describe its beauty. The water was warm, and turquoise blue everyday. We dont do the pool, so cant stay anything about it. But if you like the natural sound of the waves, the beach is where you should go. Enjoyed a fresh coconut drink from our friend... who is there daily. for 3 pesos you can't go wrong... so refreshing!

Lastly the bar between the Italian and Chinese hands down is the most fun spot to be, with Alcides!!!! he makes the best drinks on resort... Try his Martini's or Mojitos... YUM!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Cuba... these people make $30 pesos a month. They work hard, very hard to make your stay a GREAT stay. And with saying that... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember to tip. We try to tip them as much as we can, and believe me they remember who you are... and they appreciate it ! Its happening more and more that people just don't tip at all ... You know who you are.... We've seen it....

Looking foward to our next trip this year... can't wait to go to our "cottage"

Cheers to our family in Cayo Coco, and the regulars!!! You know who YOU are! xo

Great trip. Short distance from the airport. HUGE resort! Beautiful beaches. Food was good for Cuba, I would highly recommended the Cubana restaurant. I got sick once from eating cheese on a burger but other than that I was fine the whole time. I would highly recommended. Great value and a great time!

We stayed at the tryp from March15-29, 2014. We had perfect weather with sunshine and very warm temperatures. We were in Building 5, a short distance to the beach, which was great. We can't say enough great thing about the staff that work there. There was plenty to eat at every buffet we went. My best meal was breakfast. Thanks for the wonderful french toast at the crepe grill and the wonderful omelets made fresh every morning. To William and Fidel at the breakfast buffet thanks for the great service. To Osmani at the International thanks for your hospitality. To Ronnie at the beach hut thanks for that wonderful smile. We also enjoyed the hamburgers at the barbecue grill. The À la carte were very good. We ate at the BBQ and grill, Italian, Oriental (the best), Seafood and the International.

The beach is incredible here. A short distance to the water and the sunrises are spectacular. A wonderful place to take a long walk in the morning. Thanks to Ernesto at the beah bar for the wonderful Pina Caladas. They were delicious.

Thanks to Steve from the entertainment staff for making our stay a memorable one.

Last but not least a big GRACIAS to Yudel from Guest services for tending to our needs. You will never be forgotten with that wonderful smile that greeted us every day.

To the Tryp can't wait to come back and spend some time with our family away from home.
