I expected a lot less from a beach bar. I expected even less when we waited forever for our food. But the food was quite good. Plus we were waiting on a beautiful beach.
My fried chicken wings were nicely seasoned, crispy, and fresh out of the fryer. The burger had a pretty thick patty that actually covered the bun, and the roti was stuffed full of pieces of perfectly seasoned, spicy tofu.
I can't begin to tell you what makes a perfect painkiller, but Gertrude's blends a tasty one. I know it's supposed to be on the rocks instead of frozen, but believe me, you won't care after a couple sips.
