If you visit JVD and missed this place, you missed the best cuisine on the island! I've patronized this establishment so many times over the past 4 years and I'm never disappointed. Amazing atmosphere. The view while you enjoy one of the many libations, makes you want to stay there all day. The jeep on the beach is a signature trade mark of the establishment. It's a classic just like Vinny and his monocle. Looking forward to many more memories and good times with all of you at Corsairs!

We had the Lobster for two and it was over cooked (grill) and rubbery as if it had been frozen at some point. Love the place, love the people but....I will go to Foxy's next time OR better yet...go to Harris's for Monday all you can eat lobster.

So the crusty looking guy behind the bar says "we have the best food in the VBI". And we thought "well, we won't have the opportunity to prove him wrong seeing as we are only there for 2 weeks so what the hell, let’s eat here". It was a Thursday, about lunch time, island time. There were 8 of us. We all tried different things. The food was excellent, the service was at the island pace, the chicken left the bar after voicing its opinion, the atmosphere was sublime. For those of you who think they might want to see real island doings, the main street is almost one lane wide of the finest sand with the grass trying to take over. The palms sway in the breeze and the hammocks are free. Go to Jost Van Dyke and have lunch, dinner, or breakfast at Corsair's. It puts the world in perspective.

Amazing food, atmosphere and hospitality. I could not believe the amazing food and friendliness at this place so far from everything else. Bravo to the owner, chef and staff of this restaurant.

Our first visit to Corsair's must have been on 2006, when we were new to the Virgin Islands and were on our first visit to Jost Van Dyke. The owner Vinnie instantly made us feel like old friends, and so often recommend it to friends visiting JVD who want to check out something different (great local music, interesting drinks, homemade desserts, etc). Now, years later, we were finally able to come back for a sit-down dinner and WOW was it awesome! Conch fritters with goat cheese sauce-- out of this world. And the pizza was outstanding by stateside standards. Our world-traveling foody friends we were with had been honeymooning on JVD all week and had the chance to try several dishes-- they were equally impressed by the chef's prowess in the kitchen (they especially liked his Tai meals and scallops with linguini). Our waitress was excellent, and Vinnie's still there with a genuine smile for everyone there. It's rare to find a place where the food is incredible and the vibes are simply perfect! Grab a drink there after you check in, and then go back to eat, too.
