“Fantastic!”

This is one of the gems we discovered on our trip to the west coast this summer. Fabulous food, terrific service and coffee that can't be beat. What a spot!

“Can't get better!”
Reviewed August 18, 2014 via mobile

We had an amazing meal! I love muscles and have had them at many restaurants and these were by far the best I have ever had. The cod and salmon were both delicious and the portions were huge. The staff were so friendly and so welcoming - a perfect example of Newfoundland hospitality. When we return to Norris point next summer we will come back more than once, that is for sure!

“Make a reservation!”
Reviewed August 18, 2014

Very busy, they were out of most of the specials by the time we rolled in but Justin was accommodating with prepping something else and the food was absolutely delicious! They have a late night menu on the weekends that was also well worth the visit post a pub night. Best food in the area I would definitely say, especially if you are trying to watch how much deep-fried/high fat food you are having.

“Great steak! ”
Reviewed August 14, 2014 via mobile

We had a good night here - not as great as we had hoped for, but still good food! There was a wedding party in the restaurant when we arrived for our reserved time, and they were taking up a good part of the place. Although they weren't overly loud for the size of group, it did make the overall restaurant atmosphere loud, and it was difficult to hear and talk. Our mussels, of course, were wonderful, and the shrimp were great. But the best came with the main courses - that showed us really why this place is so well reviewed. Two steaks, both cooked perfectly and amazingly good, a lovely cod dish (not bland to my taste, but not overly sauced or spiced), and a duck dish that was well cooked and well flavored. Overall, I had hoped for a five star experience, but was still happy!

“Excellent”
Reviewed August 13, 2014

This restaurant received multiple recommendations from random travelers we met at our hotel, so we had to check it out. The menu is on the chalk board at the back. From the outside it looks like a hippie coffee shop. Don't let the appearance fool you - the food was very good! I had beef tenderloin with an exquisite sauce. The desserts looked so good, but we were too full to try any.
